I predict this will become a bestseller.

Kind regards, Michael

I agree, one of the add-ons I have been waiting for as I know that in previous flight sims it was outstanding.

System specs...   CPU AMD5950,  GPU AMD6900XT,  ROG crosshair VIII Hero motherboard, Corsair 64 gig LPX 3600 mem, Air cooling on GPU,   Kraken x pump cooling on CPU.  Samsung G7 curved 27" monitor at 2k resolution ULTRA default settings.

Just imagine GSX integration with FBW mod 😍

Too bad it doesn't simulate the aircraft nose getting lifted up with that towbarless tow.

Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX AiO | Win 11

What does it bring more than what we will actually have with the FBW A320? I mean controlling all ground services from the EFB.

I was indeed waiting for the lift, too. Maybe it's still under development.

The nose doesn't really move that much when the wheel gets jacked up by the grips in reality. Yeah if you are looking hard you'll see it move of course, but it's not like the thing is significantly up off the ground, it's only up enough to allow it to pivot in the cradle.

I have seen it in real life and it was quite impressive when I saw it the first time. When I saw the video, I wasn't impressed. Perhaps because it's not the first time I see such a spectacular maneuveur? 😄

punctuation ^^

Good news GSX is being working on, but we knew that already. Umberto also mentioned the MSFS-SDK availability was a limitation, and maybe it still is.

Hopefully the next video takes more than 26 secs, otherwise I'll get the impression that's still a lot of work ahead.

For me personally it doesn’t need to be 100% accurate. I’m probably in the majority when I say I’ve never seen a tow in operation up close and only seen one through a terminal window or for a few seconds on the air stairs. To me it just needs to be close not imitate every mechanical movement precisely.

I have been driving pushback trucks with and without towbar for years. I can tell you that at least the Goldhofer Trucks do indeed lift the nose significantly which of course depends on the type of aircraft. Fokker 70 for example is an extreme with about 30-40 cm in lift depending on the type of towtruck.

That'd be great. The standard jumpy attachment is kind of immersion breaking. Especially when everything around looks as realistic as it does with MSFS.

Happy with MSFS 🙂

Since it does it with P3D ( except with some 3rd party airplanes that have custom flight modeling ), we'll expect to make it working on MSFS too.

True, but in terms of the sim, and from the distances depicted in the sim, it's not really going to be that noticeable a movement visually. It will be from the cab of the tug of course.

Next time you're out at an aeroplane, try this. Get in the rear hold of something like an A321 or 320 up near the back just before where the hold floor starts sloping up toward the tail, stand with your legs apart and then rapidly shift your weight from one leg to the other like you are doing a fast warm up for some exercise. Surprisingly, you will feel that aeroplane rock from side to side; it's quite a significant feeling of movement, since you'd think it wouldn't make the aeroplane move much at all, but it really does. However, I doubt anyone outside who was looking at the aeroplane would notice that movement.
