February 16, 20215 yr Is it just me or do the cockpit gauges look like low-resolution 2D gauges? Kind of like the TB-21? I don't see any depth to the gauges, and in the 2nd screenshot the letter 'S' of the HSI is overlapping the yellow of the needle.... Look like 2D gauges to me. Also on the TB-21 the 2D gauges caused a big performance hit. AMD 3950X | 64GB RAM | AMD 5700XT | CH Fighterstick / Pro Throttle / Pro Pedals

February 16, 20215 yr Looks beautiful to me, hoping to cover this one on my channel. Flight model is most important to me, the new tablet they have seems cool. My name is Steve and I prefer hand flying. Co-Founder of Hype Performance Group, MFS 3rd Party Developers Released Projects: HPG H135, HPG H145, HPG Hot Air Balloon

February 16, 20215 yr In the non-Turbo version it looks like there might be a button on the EFB iPad to change between the GPS100 and the GNS530 AMD 3950X | 64GB RAM | AMD 5700XT | CH Fighterstick / Pro Throttle / Pro Pedals
February 16, 20215 yr It's a shame about the position of the Manifold Pressure and RPM gauges, but I suppose that is where they are in the real aircraft (slightly behind the yoke). In any case, I am really interested in this and the non-turbo version. They used to offer them both in a pack with a bit of a cost saving, so hopefully they will do that again. February 16, 20215 yr This is one of my favourites from X-Plane. Pretty sure the gauges are 3D but would need to go back and check. Ryzen 9800X3D, RTX 5090, 64GB, Win 11. MSFS2020. Moza, MFG, Fulcrum & Virpil controllers. Quest 3 for VR.

It would be nice if MSFS could have a handheld GPS like FSX had, because I expect a pilot these days would bring one just to be prepared. February 16, 20215 yr JF have said you'll be able to switch between 530 and GPS 100 in the standard MSFS Arrow (not least to allow turning to 8.33khz frequencies) so seems very likely you'll be able to do the same of the Turbo
February 16, 20215 yr The PA-28R (both Turbo and non-Turbo versions) were enjoyable in P3D (in fact, they still are...). Waiting to know more when the videos for MSFS are released. Hopefully it'll be a good discount to existing P3D users.
