50 More files to download now after a 2nd sim restart. Seems like the liveries.

The G1000/3000 issue thread on the MSFS forums was added to the Feedback Snapshot, which said the changes / fixes outlined in that thread would be made in Sim Update III.

This was Sim update 3, yes? The only significant update that I see in my initial look is a OBS mode...yeah, that useful, but not really even frequently used IRL. It still inserts the USER waypoint in the flight plan when going direct or activating an a approach. It still loops you in a ridiculous arc to the IAF....no GPS navigator in the history of GPS navigators works this way.

But hey we got contrails and old FSX liveries! So cheers everyone! I really want to believe in ASOBO, but it is clear who the target market for this title is.

The same target audience as FSX.

The Fly By Wire team have already done a patch for todays update. Dev version only for the moment.

Intel Core i5-12600k, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 128 Gigs.

So MSFS has downloaded the 3.13 GB hotfix again, then restarted and it downloaded a game update of 1.03 GB, now restarted and it's finally got to sim update 3 at 6.33 GB.

Time to go off and do something completely different as 6.33 GB is going to take a while.

Anyone that have tried any of the Garmin Mods yet?

I delinked all from community except FSDT and Orbx and now I cannot use any of the Sim flights like adventures, lessons etc.. CTDs galore.

Haven't seen any reports of CTDs yet.

This is why I never buy mainstream games, I'm not part of the mainstream, must try to remember that.

Well this isn't really a mainstream game.

Only thing I've noticed is tiny nameplates have stopped working - no big issue though.
