CaptainSim working on 737-300?

I tend to be a little cautious with CS, but this is exciting news! The classic series 737 has been my favorite in the 737 range and I have sorely missed them since the 737PIC by Wilco all those years ago! There are many airlines that still use the classic 737 series, especially in the farther reaches of the world, for example in Middle Eastern, Central Asian or African countries. Depending on the price, I'll likely get this...

Why are all the pictures from the 767?

I fully agree. I’m excited. If they don’t over price it I’m in. I remember being younger flying these on airlines like us airways.

Exactly! KLM used the 737-400 a lot, and the occasional El Al flight as well. My last flight on the series was on a Lufthansa 737-500 from Billund to Frankfurt (I believe), in 2014. Man, those were such awesome planes...

I guess is a placeholder. I’m assuming the product it’s not ready yet and I’ll be updated eventually.

Let‘s hope so. The news is exciting! And P3D is not dead (yet) ...

Well, to anyone contemplating actually sending money for early access to an incomplete beta (so early that they can't apparently even get pictures of the correct aircraft on a page soliciting paying beta customers), you'd be well advised to put on your gi, and hit the virtual dojo for a good Google-Fu workout.  Captain Sim has a long and spotty history when it comes to taking money for projects that never got fully completed.  It looked, with the fairly decent ongoing support they've provided for their 757 project, that they had finally abandoned that oft-reviled business model.  But alas, maybe not...  The history is there for anyone willing to go looking.

This is just a place holder webpage.  It is not functional. No reason to get over-excited.

Well, I'm certainly not excited.  Completely unexcited, in fact.

Were it not for the history, I wouldn't give it a second thought.  But then, there it is, that pesky history.  The web page, even in draft form, signals their intent to sell access to an incomplete product--again, sigh--and it's worthy of mention right up front that we've been down this rocky road more than a couple times with these guys, and, historically speaking, it has not ended well.

It may be the best B737-300, etc. simulation ever, or somewhere in between that an the simulated level in their B767/757.  Hard to predict.  What is easy to predict is that the CSHA (Captain Sim's Haters Association) members will be active, regardless.

It’ll be bad. There’s my prediction, which was very easy to make.

No intention on buying it. Just sharing the rumor. If I ever pick it up it would be in one of those Captainsim sales. Just like I’m waiting for a sale on the 767.

We have had 2 BIG hype that turned into "little bit" nightmare recently, so don't show them your excitement yet.

Yes, yes, yes! I still remember that, feel like yesterday. Release an unfinished product with very beautiful promises. The excitement was huge back then, I couldn't believe we have been so easy on our money since that day!

So is Airsimmer..oh, where are they now?
