March 18, 20215 yr Hey everyone! We're in the process of exploring a possible major change in the FBW A32NX: shipping our own navdata, in a similar fashion to the Aerosoft CRJ and pretty much most payware airliners in previous sims. How this would work is the plane would come with a free, out of date AIRAC cycle provided to us by Navigraph, and those with a Navigraph subscription would be able to update the AIRAC cycle to the current version. With a proper set of navdata like this, we would be able to support all ARINC-424 flight plan leg types, which means a completely functional lateral navigation system that can support published holds, speed restrictions, and procedures that are currently missing from the default navdata. We are considering also having the option to revert back to the default navdata (with limited lateral navigation functionality) if you wish, since the A320's FMC does allow you to switch between two stored nav databases in real life as well. Thoughts and feedback? Please do not contact me via DM for support or help with the A32NX mod. We recommend using our help channel on our Discord.
March 18, 20215 yr Sounds like a great development to me! Congratulations to you and the team for the FANTASTIC work so far 🙂

March 18, 20215 yr As long as people without a Navigraph subscription can enjoy it (and that's exactly what you're doing) then it sounds like a great idea.

March 18, 20215 yr Yes, and good to see there will be still be a standard version for those that don't want/or cannot afford the expense of a Navigraph sub. AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive
March 18, 20215 yr Yes. Perhaps the keeping the same option as Aerosoft CRJ, where they are potentially planning on switching back to MSFS data once the internal NavBlue data gets better?
