Please fix performance

Featured Replies

I am a fan. A huge fan. But after the latest update, now closing in on 14 days, frame rates are horrible, I dare say the sim became 'unsimable'!

Asobo/MS please give us a hotfix!

I tried every tweak known to men. Something is bottlenecking the sim.

I do not understand why you release an update, which such bad performance.

Why are things not tested before release?????? At least give us an option to roll back and do not force untested updates on us - a bad practice from a user point of view.

Just saying - I am still a fan.

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

Yes, we need as many as we can and everywhere.
If for Asobo/Ms is ok to release such software with so many bugs it is very ok for the customer to complain as much as possible about their wrongdoing.
In the end, we are the ones who pay, we the ones who are inconvenienced and need to have our voices and dissatisfaction heard about the product.
Please don't try to silence people with different views, for sure you wouldn't like someone to tell you not to complain or express your opinion.
It's not like you run out of space.

Nobody is getting silenced, don't be melodramatic. Customers can complain to Asobo all the time. But Avsim members are not Asobo.

I'm not, total nonsense.
Yes, Avsim members complain here and there, the customers have the right to complain everywhere and to give heads up about faulty software.
I hope that you would appreciate if you would find someone giving you information about something that is not right no matter where the evaluation is coming from.

Nobody's going to stop anyone complaining, the point is that it'll likely fall on deaf ears if the complaint isn't made in the right place. That is unless you think it would improve your local hardware store if you complained about their standard of service in a cake shop in a town 200 miles away from it.

I agree. this is the wrong place to complain.

https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

I've started to complain on Twitter. MS tweets there often and it's a very public venue. Perfect IMHO to voice these frustrations.

They need to start beta testing these updates before forcing us to live with the bugs.

Yup, there's no denying the last one made things a bit choppy.

It is not the bad place to complain at all.

One of the repetitive lines of MFS marketing is that they read forums to get user feedbacks. So it makes perfect sense to voice out discontent on what is one of the largest if not the largest FS forums.

And to do it again and again. The bad rap on forums is certainly more a worry for their future sales than the hundreds of daily ZD requests which cannot be all read.

Yes, these threads are tiresome but yes they are useful too when they are justified by a real issue and documented.

You mean complainers should go to the Asobo forum and make this place a MSFS praising forum? Better be loud and clear, and say that you don't want read any complaints here in this forum. That's many of your posts are about.

I mean that repeating the same stuff in new threads over and over again is super boring and doesn't help at all.

Yeah, "new information". That's exactly what this thread is about. Not. 🙂

If it's raining for days you would jump into a meteorologist's conference several times and complain noisily that you are getting wet outside. The meteorologists express their annoyance with your behaviour, so you get angry, because those rain praising fascists try to silence you and don't appreciate your valuable information. Right?
