March 31, 20215 yr On a Tuesday? Earlier they released the patch on the Tuesday and had the Q&A the day after. I am still guessing WU4 will be very close to this date. // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

March 31, 20215 yr Like what has possessed the developers to lock down the SDK to prevent realistic development of flight modeling, avionics, complete NAV data, realistic and accurate live weather, respectable cloud textures, and ATC and ATIS that a pilot would regard as realistic? I expected too much. I got NIHS! And photo real scenery technology adapted from purposes other than for flight simulation..... (NIHS is not some High School. It is a stifling syndrome.) March 31, 20215 yr A question about why the beta testing branch is no longer scheduled for deployment has been posted. In the last Q&A, Jorg seemed to imply the beta testing branch is back up for "discussion" while it was the understanding with the community that the beta testing branch was supposed to come out in Q1/Q2 of this year. Please upvote this question so it gets answered by Asobo in the next Twitch Q&A: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/why-has-the-beta-testing-branch-that-was-scheduled-to-release-for-q1-q2-of-this-year-is-now-being-discussed-about-if-its-needed/385679 We need a beta testing branch because it will help to mitigate bugs that come out with each patch. In this latest Sim Update 3, the poor FPS was a nasty bug and Asobo had to hotfix it. We all remember the bugs in previous patches (ie. remember the peripheral bug last fall that caused MSFS to CTD at the menu screen for certain peripherals?). A beta testing branch can possibly pinpoint these bugs before it makes it to the final public release. Please upvote that question. Thank you. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
March 31, 20215 yr I noticed there is no mention of CTD's so far. I posted my concern, and a moderator has to approve it. We will see if it actually gets posted.
March 31, 20215 yr Let's vote on these issues: Performance issues: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-are-you-planning-to-improve-the-recent-performance-issues/385677?u=omarsmak Breaking updates issues: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/what-action-are-you-planning-taking-to-restore-trust-in-the-development-process/385561?u=omarsmak Supporting AIG team https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/can-you-support-aig-team-to-get-us-realistic-offline-ai-traffic/385675?u=omarsmak AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

A beta testing branch is a tangible and realistic solution to stop game breaking patches if Asobo implements it properly. Thus, the beta testing branch question is more relevant and should be voted on: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/why-has-the-beta-testing-branch-that-was-scheduled-to-release-for-q1-q2-of-this-year-is-now-being-discussed-about-if-its-needed/385679 i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
March 31, 20215 yr Im only interested in a beta test branch if I can switch from current version to and from beta. I dont want to be stuck in it. The supporting team AIG needs alot of votes. This really needs Asobos attention. Please vote and lets get some proper AI in the sim. Its so badly needed. The airport world is dull or even lifeless. March 31, 20215 yr It still amazes me that there wasn't a beta testing branch put in place since before release, poor management (again) really as it's not like it was an unknown. March 31, 20215 yr We could absolutely benefit from an internal in-sim bug reporting tool that can simplify and unify the bug diagnosing and fixing process. Be sure to vote for it here. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/will-we-have-an-in-sim-bug-reporting-system-at-some-point-so-that-things-like-performance-issues-might-be-diagnosed-quicker/385550/4
