And you are the judge of that ... ?

That there is a difference between fantasy and fact? That doesn't need a judge. Facts in most cases are clearly recognizable. The above shared comparison video clearly did not show what the creator claimed it showed. Do you want to blur the difference between truth and fiction? Do you support people spreading their "alternative facts"? Maybe you are the true Donald. 🙂

There is no need to spread rumors about WU4 reducing tree distance. It's just not true. Avsim should not be a place where unfounded rumors and outright falsehoods get shared.

I have an obvious question about them adding a vegetation slider...

What if the top setting is the rubbish we already have, and the only way to adjust it is down?

This is interesting. I don't understand, though, why Bijan's trees around LOWI have this crazy color. 🙂

let's hope that his method really works and that other people build a free fix. I really don't like his price and his super joyful spring colors.

You really think that you are more and better than someone else. You really think that what you write is the only thruth.

Sone people only visit the forums once a week and have experienced an issue that for them is a bug. Then you come along to “correct” them. But who says you are ? Mostly only you.

Leave people with their value instead of searching for that one word that might be not correct so you can jump on them with your impolite phrases....

You could also write that you understand that they are having an issue but and  they could try your advice for a solution...

Good question, and changing Lod slider to more than 200 will not help many, what we all want is to get it back as it was before with the "tree distance mods" as it did not cause a performance drop.

On the Thread over on the MSFS forums - it is suggested to make it a distance slider by increments in Miles; 5, 10, 15, 20 ,etc.

I really don't know what this rant is about. You got me wrong.

It was only the question if WU4 reduced tree draw distance compared to before WU4. Nothing else. It was not about the general tree distance problem, which obvioulsy exists and which I acknowledged several times. Do you understand this?

This is a very easy question of true or false. Nothing about "values", "opinions", being "better" than others etc. It is you who reads all this into short and easy to understand comments. But why?

Please think about this and try to behave reasonably. If you can't cope with me calling people out for obvious lies, then just block me.

Your behavior is not only like that in this thread but in almost every thread you participate in.

This is a hobby. You are not right all the time like anyone else....

You obviously are on a personal vendetta. If you can't see the importance of realism, facts, logic etc., then it's your fault, not mine.  Very strange behaviour to be honest and a little bit disturbing. I comment on facts and flight simming. You post on your strange personal feelings.

Leave him "crimplene" alone, it's just a waste of time and energy.

Yes, it truly is a waste of my time.

A lot of people start noticing the reduced LOD when the "perfomance" patch was released between WU3 and WU4. Maybe they reduced it even before that, maybe they did it gradually and at one point somebody noticed.

This is a screenshot I took after the mentioned patch. It was taken at 4000ft with both sliders to 200. I mean, c'mon...

Brilliant idea to take the screenshots in "winter" with snow, as it is by far more visible than in the "alltime summer" screenshots. This was also the reason I initially caught it, when I was flying around in the Alps with snow coverage, then the low draw distance is extremely obvious on the mountains in front of you.

Yeah! It wasn't intentional though, it was just so painfully obvious :)
