April 29, 20215 yr NVIDIA GeForce 466.27 Driver Out Quote The drivers include the optimum experience for Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition, which adds additional ray-traced effects and NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 for greater performance and improved image quality. Additionally, this release also provides optimal support for Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Resident Evil Village, along with support for 5 new G-SYNC Compatible displays. Game Ready Drivers provide the best possible gaming experience for all major new releases, including Virtual Reality games. Prior to a new title launching, our driver team is working up until the last minute to ensure every performance tweak and bug fix is optimized for the best gameplay on day-1. We have a discussion thread open on this driver here in our Nvidia driver discussion forums. For those that wonder, the DCH driver is a Microsoft DCH (Declarative Componentized Hardware supported apps) driver and refers to a new Windows 10 driver package preinstalled by OEMS implementing the Microsoft Universal Driver paradigm. While the base core component files remain the same, the way DCH drivers are packaged differs from previous Legacy (Standard) drivers. We recommend the normal driver and not DCH. This new Game Ready Driver provides support for the Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition, which adds additional ray-traced effects and NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 for greater performance and improved image quality. Additionally, this release also provides optimal support for Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Resident Evil Village, along with support for 5 new G-SYNC Compatible displays. This driver updates the hash limiter for the GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB and is required for product shipped starting mid-May. April 29, 20215 yr Just made a test flight with 466.27 driver + latest Windows update. I had the best/smooth performance so far in EGLC London City area with Cessna 172 Skyhawk (G1000) ( high glass cockpit) MSFS - Ultra settings at 1440p with 50-70 fps. Intel Core i9-13900K | ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC 24GB | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | DDR5 64GB 6000-30 Trident Z5 RGB | Corsair ICUE H170i Elite Capellix RGB | Corsair 7000D Airflow ASUS ROG Thor Platinum II 1200 Watt | Samsung SSD 990 Pro NVMe M.2 2TB & 1TB | Alienware AW3423DW | Asus ROG Swift PG279Q 27" Gaming Monitor | VKB-Sim Gladiator Mk.II | Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition
April 29, 20215 yr Tested and its working fantastic for me both in monitor and vr mode - smooth and stutter free! Finally I can let go of the good old trusty 457.30 driver. Running an i7 9700k @4.6ghz, rtx 3090, 32gigs of RAM and a Reverb G2. Edited April 29, 20215 yr by saifs

Others previous to the V5 remain. Good flight.

What is the frequency of your CPU? I don't see a very high load on my GPU, but the CPU core that runs the Flight Sim thread maxes out well before 70 frames. // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //

I think the short answer to this is "no" LOL This is why they invented expensive insurance. Why not take your computer outside (after the rebuild of course) Umbrellas are cheaper than insurance. By the way, I loved your comment LOL Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). I enabled Adaptive boost with multicore enhancement ( no limits) with avx offset of 5.1ghz all cores - 5.3hz ( Single core boost). In London City i had high load on 3090 ( 60% to 99%) while 11900 single core was between 70 to 90%. April 30, 20215 yr I usually have very low expectations for driver upgrades (more often than not fully and wearily / disappointingly realized). But, yes, there's a significant improvement with this driver upgrade for my 1080ti.
April 30, 20215 yr Might this be the Driver that I finally move on from trusty ole' 457.30? I shall watch this space with interest.
