WT Releases v.0.7.0 of the G3000

Featured Replies

https://github.com/Working-Title-MSFS-Mods/fspackages/releases/tag/g3000-v0.7.0

Release Highlights

Please refer to the changelog for a more detailed description of changes in this release.

  • Added the ability to insert airways into flight plans.
  • Added support for standby flight plans.
  • Added the Flight Plan and Procedure Preview panes.
  • Added the Flight Plan Text Inset window for the Navigation Map.
  • For the Longitude: the GTC Flight Plan Keypad now supports direct entry of routes into flight plans (please refer to the changelog for the syntax).

Fixes

  • [FPLN] Fixed a bug where the GTC Flight Plan page would display a different active leg from the navigation map and PFD navigation status bar.
  • [GTC] The Flight Plan page should now report accurate leg-leg distances for all flight plan legs.
  • [GTC] The Back button now works properly in the Procedure Selection pages.
  • [GTC] The Waypoint Keyboard now provides accurate indications of when a match for the entered waypoint ident has been found.
  • [GTC] Fixed a graphical glitch affecting certain touchscreen buttons.
  • [Charts] The mod should now be better at “remembering” Navigraph account access and should not require account re-linking as frequently.
  • [VFR Map] Fixed a bug preventing the VFR Map from being moved when it was not detached to a separate window.

Glad to see that they are still releasing G3000 stuff now that they are working in the core sim as well....

Solved my problem with the stuck VFR Map 👍

Seems to have helped preventing the drop in frame rates when using road data in the previous version. WT were very helpful and responsive. Fingers crossed, the update doesn't seem to give so much of a drop using road data .... but apparently may depend on the region though.

Thank You WT team !!  your dedication and hard work is immensely appreciated.👌👍🙌

These guys are amazing.  I am curious about the development flow.  Say they make and test 10 modifications, would like 2-3 make it into the official MS updates?  Or, is this freeware side of things kind of 'test' prior to anything going to MS?  Just thinking out loud.

Agreed - the team is amazing. I am sure they will reach a point where they would tell us - "Mod not required anymore - all changes are in the official MSFS release." That is my thinking.

Navigraph Account Linking  This mod enables the G3000/5000 to natively display Navigraph charts.

Out of curiosity, is this also a real world feature or only in the sim?

Just tried it - good stuff.

Real world Garmin does not use Navigraph charts - they are Jeppesen

They do however communicate via bluetooth to ipad for foreflight or garmin pilot FP transfers

Really awesome mod. Tried this one for the first time (but knew their CJ4 mod) in a short testflight in the Longitude and am really impressed. The Garmins feel really plausible/believable, and the map options are awesome. I especially love the city and road data on the map; very much like a real moving map.
