May 22, 20215 yr Always interesting to come here and read the same arguments by the same people. Some things never change. Meanwhile, PMDG has read the market and adapted, rather quickly I might add given their past history. That’s a good thing for us all, is it not? And speaking of PMDG, I had no interest in their DC 6, but after watching their tutorial videos, I’m sold! When you say dying what do you mean? Do you mean that people will stop using the sim? Developers will stop creating add-ons for the sim? The sim will simply vanish from our HDs? As long as developers create the needed content, I doubt that P3D or X-Plane will ever disappear, even if MSFS becomes the #1 sim you're clamoring for. PMDG will have to deal with the trials and tribulations of a sim that is still a WIP. No big deal. Edited May 22, 20215 yr by DJJose MSFS

Sometimes I really think people are just trying to hate on MSFS. There is plenty of complex aircraft to fly in MSFS and it runs pretty darn good except on approach. It's something Asobo needs to address. Both sides really need to stop. Seriously, enjoying one does not require hating others. I keep seeing people who want P3D and X-Plane to die, similarly I keep seeing people who want MSFS to fail. Both are equally annoying to be fair. While I am so excited for MSFS, I simply do not have the financial status for repurchasing all of my add-ons, so I will keep P3D and will only get aircraft that I do not already have (DC-6, 777, 787) for MSFS. It is really upsetting to me that people are being happy when developers stop supporting their add-ons for P3D. Not even mentioning people making fun of the platform / users altogether. I love MSFS, but do not forget that not everyone can afford / run it. It is always good to have choices. Either case I hope the DC-6 gets released in early July, so excited to do some bush flights. And would definitely be happy if the 777 gets released this year. Edited May 22, 20215 yr by BiologicalNanobot PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM. This is a logical reason for preferring P3D. You invested years into it. As long as you enjoy it, who cares about others loves ? I also have quite a few dollar in P3D but it's getting harder and harder for me to go back. Even if I just acquired the 747 a few months ago. I go MSFS, XP11 and than P3D. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.
May 22, 20215 yr I'd like to see MSFS succeed and I still complain when an update breaks my sim. What's I find befuddling is why so many simmers want to see P3D or XP11 fail? Hard to fathom. MSFS
May 22, 20215 yr The FJS 727 and the IniSimulation A300 is an absolute gem in XP11. Why would you want this to fail ? I don't get flight simmer sometimes. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.

I'm fine with what other people likes, I just don't like it when they ask developers to stop supporting older simulators. As a fun fact, I am relatively new to P3D, which is the main reason I don't want to repurchase everything. Until recently (last year) I only had X-Plane with $600-700 worth of add-ons, then purchased P3D and spent a similar amount, now I only use P3D and MSFS. May 22, 20215 yr All i see is folk anounce a good development in MSFS, then next second, the "it's just a game "posts start rolling in, or " The SDk " is not ready for complex systems..... If you don't like MSFS, then don't comment, and go play which ever you deem fit. May 22, 20215 yr Have anyone asked if it will come to the marketplace or not? I love the idea of having a central place to purchase & download all add-ons. Also everything is much cheaper for me thanks to regional pricing. PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM. Nope, not going to do that, constructive criticism and comment are the best ways of identifying and improving duff aspects of any simulator. I don't have MSFS, for my own reasons, but that doesn't mean I want it to fail, or to badmouth it. What I see is informed and logical reasoning and analysis aimed at trying to get what we all want really, which is good looks, good performance and realistic behaviour. I want it to be as good as it could possibly be, regardless of whether I own it or not. And I'd hope that you'd want it to be that way as well, even if you're comfortable with how it is at present. Aerosoft and a few other 3rd party devs have said their sales for P3D have tanked so they won’t make new products for P3D. Devs may still support existing products for a sim, but that doesn’t mean they need to make new products for it. Without new products, P3D or X-Plane can become FSX. Yes, people still play FSX today. But almost no devs are making products for FSX. Will P3D or X-Plane become FSX? That’s the big question right now. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
