June 10, 20214 yr One option is to add some lighting with the (freeware) FSLabs spotlights program, although I'm not certain it's 5.2 compatible yet. I also read elsewhere that v5.2 has some new config file options to limit the min/max brightness (exposure)...I am going to be waiting a while for my critical add-ons to catch up before updating to 5.2, so I can't offer specifics. Looks like we can't have best of both worlds....either dark outside/bright inside or dark inside light out.... Alex

With it off everything is normal.
June 10, 20214 yr LM fundamentally ignores the dark cabin or cannot influence it. Only the blind cannot see it.

Today there was a solar eclipse which was accurately depicted by Enhanced Atmospherics, causing everything to look extremely dark. Cockpit brightness issue has improved, not deteriorated, so I'd recommend trying again given that the solar eclipse is over now. June 10, 20214 yr Author When I tried further, it seems that the A2A Comanche stands out as particularly affected by a dark cockpit with EA activated in 5.2. Neither Leonardo MD-82 nor Q400 seems to be affected negatively and the lighting looks perfectly ok.
