I looked into getting this and it looks as if in the future it will be a nice add-on. I am gong to pass for now. I want a GTN750 that I can use in all planes without having to jump through a bunch of hoops.

This is what turned me off.

DA62NG and DA62NGX

G36 and G36 Turbo (R. Young)

I have not had a single problem with it

The Premium package is not free. It requires a paid license. Either a subscription or a one time purchase. Either are too high, IMHO for the current state of the product.

The real world Garmin GTN750 package will do nothing by itself either.  Flying with it requires installation in an aircraft.  Duh.

I guess I got in the Premium for free as an early adopter - did not know it was now $25 Euro/year

The premium licenses from the beta program expire after a while at which point you will need to buy a license to continue to use the premium features.

This is copy and paste from an email from pms50 on 5/25 -

I like the current stage of the "App" and have purchased a 1 year license. I've got a year to so how far it goes

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz (8 cores) Hyper on, Evga RTX 3060 12 Gig, 32 GB ram, Windows 11, P3D v6, and MSFS 2020 and a couple of SSD's

Why do I feel like I keep seeing this reposted over and over again? It’s been out for a while right? Wake me up when we can actually use it in the VC.

In the c208 it does not fill the entire garmin screen but leaves a substatial gap. Not very nice looking. The app itself is ok. Not something i would expect to be a sub. It is something more fitting of a onetime purchase but 75 usd for that is too much.

Since I have two monitors, I prefer the TDS 750 as it's fully functional. There is a mod that allows it to fit in the VC but it just mirrors what is on the main screen - no interaction in the VC. Fopr me, that's perfect because I've always popped up the 750 when I had to interact with it so it's not a big deal.

There's something for everyone.

Can someone please bring me up to speed here.  New to MSFS and I see a couple GTN products which at this time appear marginally OK.

So is this one a freebee but not that functional, and then you need to buy a subscription to get full access?
