June 24, 20214 yr I looked into getting this and it looks as if in the future it will be a nice add-on. I am gong to pass for now. I want a GTN750 that I can use in all planes without having to jump through a bunch of hoops. This is what turned me off. "The basic package will do nothing by itself. Flying with it requires to use a third party aircraft with the GTN750 integrated or one of the standard MSFS aircraft with a G1000" Edited June 24, 20214 yr by Taver Tim Curtis MSFS2020, i7-9900k 5.0Ghz, 32GB Ram, Nvidia 3080, 48" LG OLED CX

It requires a paid license. Either a subscription or a one time purchase. Either are too high, IMHO for the current state of the product. Flying with it requires installation in an aircraft. Duh. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

June 24, 20214 yr The premium licenses from the beta program expire after a while at which point you will need to buy a license to continue to use the premium features.
June 24, 20214 yr This is copy and paste from an email from pms50 on 5/25 - "Your license key for GTN750 Activation Key is about to expire. Your license expires on: 08/06/2021. Your expiring license key is: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX To renew your license: Login to your PMS50 account Go to “My Account” menu Click on “View licenses” in the Purchase section Click on “Extend license” link. Thank you for your confidence in our product PMS50" I like the current stage of the "App" and have purchased a 1 year license. June 24, 20214 yr Why do I feel like I keep seeing this reposted over and over again? It’s been out for a while right? Wake me up when we can actually use it in the VC.
June 24, 20214 yr In the c208 it does not fill the entire garmin screen but leaves a substatial gap. Not very nice looking. The app itself is ok. Not something i would expect to be a sub. It is something more fitting of a onetime purchase but 75 usd for that is too much. Andreas Stangenes http://www.youtube.com/user/krsans78 Add me on gamertag: Bullhorns78
June 24, 20214 yr Moderator Since I have two monitors, I prefer the TDS 750 as it's fully functional. There is a mod that allows it to fit in the VC but it just mirrors what is on the main screen - no interaction in the VC. Fopr me, that's perfect because I've always popped up the 750 when I had to interact with it so it's not a big deal. There's something for everyone. June 24, 20214 yr Can someone please bring me up to speed here. New to MSFS and I see a couple GTN products which at this time appear marginally OK. So is this one a freebee but not that functional, and then you need to buy a subscription to get full access? Bryan Bryan Wallis aka "fltsimguy" Maple Bay, British Columbia Near CAM3
