July 28, 20214 yr Author Anyone else having screen glitching when transitioning between views? So far I am not happy with the update. If I switch off TAA the glitching stops but it was all working fine before the update. And I would also like to remove the top menu from showing which now is apparently permanant. In due time, I'm hopeful they will give PC version more options. This is the 1st time they ever released MSFS on a different platform. Fine to have a console version but I think it should have been released as a separate game/sim and not embedded within the PC version. No popping, flashing, etc. Looks great and flies smooth. Finally! Well, I'm seeing the popping. Multiple others in this thread are seeing it. The beta testers were seeing it, and telling Asobo about it. That several of you are not seeing it is great news. You'll have a good experience. That doesn't mean the issue doesn't exist. This is a phenomenon you often see in these forums. Some people are having some kind of issue, others are not - and almost act offended by the mere suggestion that there might be a bug somewhere. And in this case, there is no doubt there is an issue that impacts various users differently, depending on their settings, their hardware, the weather, the location, the time of day and so on. If you're happy, that's great. July 28, 20214 yr I never said it didn't exist. I was just pointing out that there is a reason that some people have it and that others don't. July 28, 20214 yr BijanStudio shows it fairly well in the following video from the SU 5 Stutters thread. I'm seeing it slightly more pronounced. And it doesn't just happen with camera view changes. It happens when you turn your head and look out the window to the side. And since I'm using TrackIR I do this all the time. The LOD being rendered barely covers the Field of View, a few degrees to each side. The effect is much less visible in lower complexity areas like woodland and fields, it's a lot more visible in complex scenery. What I would like is an LOD slider for FOV, not only distance. July 28, 20214 yr Such whining on here, yikes. XBOX version was released today. Of course, this update is going to ensure they have a roll out on that platform that can make those users enjoy it right out of the gate. They HAVE to! We’re talking about brand new users to this hobby. From what I’ve read, it’s mixed reviews. I’ve read a lot of posts from a lot of people that think this is the best the sim has performed. Thus far, Microsoft and Asobo have been very attentive to our suggestions and I see a bunch of cry babies talking about “well, there’s always X plane”. Have it. Even on MSFS worst days, it’s still leaps and bounds better than the two other options. Have we not forgotten this thing is a year and half old!? Who remembers how long it took FSX to look decent? Yeah - it costs a ton of money. I think you all should calm down and let Asobo come out and make a statement. They always have. I chose to believe their on our side, because if it wasn’t for us, they wouldn’t have the feedback they need. Go for a walk or something but give me a break. “Is P3D still for sale”. You guys are embarrassing. They’ll work the kinks out. We need to remember how lucky we are to have Microsoft and Asobo pushing the boundaries of Flight Simulation.

I'm upset because I can't climb into the flight levels without the temperature staying the same and ruining performance and realism on every flight I do.. I can't realistically edit or import a proper IFR flight plan to use, can't use the god awful ATC.. etc etc. I just see the priorities are very clear this is a beautiful dumbed down flying experience not meant for me since Im obviously asking way too much of Asobo.. right? You know XP and p3d is still available right?
