Its because i use it!:)

if you dont use MSFS, all in OFF, you will se there is no CTD!:)

i hope this tip can be useful.

Thank you for posting this.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I got a glimmer of hope first when I read your title. Then cruelly you rip the hope away from me. You monster!

Overclocking, heat and tools like Process Lasso seem to be the main culprits.

Haven’t had any CTDs in a long while until SU5 now they are back for some reason

I'm surprised this wasn't covered in the release notes, alongside the tips about turning off AI traffic and not flying near the North or South poles.

One thing that seemed to help in some cases is to delete the Content.xml file before starting MSFS. For Steam users it can be found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator , for the MS Store version it's located in one of the subfolders of C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe

I deleted it before the update, so I can't comment on the effectiveness, but it helped some users in the official forums.

No CTDs and I am flying it everyday, word not allowed, I must be doing something wrong....

Don't get me wrong, having CTDs is plain frustration and some anger is fully understandable. Stalking in different forums and media to add negativity is not.

Right-on!  Everytime there is an update these negative posts make me feel like I'm using a completely different sim.

thanks for your post but...

after a clean install, having a CTD while loading, and after another CTD while loading, and then another CTD while taking off, etc,etc...makes me think the product i bought is not finished.

Unofrtunately being in silence does not offer nothing. The vendor think all is good. So i prefer to make a post, of course, in comic genre.

i hope asobo hear us and fix it. its our right.

the rest of msfs is great.

Why or are you just throwing this at the wall to see if it will stick?  Windows logs are your friend.

The truth is that I am responding to your statement, not throwing things at the wall. And while I write I do it with a smile, friend. On the internet, he who reads, he interprets what he reads according to his own state of mind. 🙂 everything is great! I'm still in good spirits!
