Shed loads of updates in the contents manager - both Deluxe and Premium pack upgrades as well as the previous world updates getting updated

This is so screwed up!  I am at downloading 16KB of some 500, but NOTHING had downloaded in ten minutes...the entire bar is still white.  I have a fear (as it did once before..if this download screws up, or you STOP it...or pause, it will totally screw up your full install, and require you to FULLY reinstall the whole of Flight Simulator. So...that's that.  Isn't boding well...

If MS Store isn't updating, either restart windows or force quit the store app via task manager and relaunch it.

I'm getting around 58 Mbit/sec

No I never had a problem only during alpha...

I'm on the West Coast USA... San Diego.  Like others I have read here I saw no updates in my MS Store.  What appears to work is you start it/launch/update (can't remember exactly what I did), thru the XBOX app NOT the MS Store.  The Xbox app opened MS Store for me and there I saw the update.  It is now just completing the 510MB update.  From there I will go into the Content Manager and start downloading the some 5+ gig of updates.

FYI - I also had to re-tell it the location of my MSFS as I have it on a separate drive.  It was about to reinstall 127GB in the default location so you might want to check that your location is proper.

Another update... After installing the 510MB I started MSFS and it brought me to another update of 2.67GB.  THis is inside the Game so now it is downloading that portion.  I guess after that I will go to the Content Manager and check on the rest.  Appears to be working/installing good though..  🙂

No. Its not any of those two. You need to search the ms store for xbox app. Download and install this. Run it once. Now back to ms store and check for updates.

I just checked the Matterhorn, and it looks exactly as it should, the DEM is really good.

As are the updated aerial images. 

However under live weather conditions the snowcover is still faulty. As soon as I turn that on the entire area gets covered in snow. I thought they fixed that by now!

happened to me as well. PAUSEd the update process, killed MSFS, rebooted, re-started update. that finally worked for me.

Just got first CTD rebuilding Rolling Cache - off to a good start.

I realize what I did wrong when I first tried to download the update, I clicked on the wrong version in the Microsoft store, not the one I have installed, that why it was telling me to install the game doh. To much haste on my part. All up and running now, it was only a small update and it took just a few minutes to download.
