September 19, 20214 yr Slow taxiing, poor animation for take offs and landings, from day 1 it just screamed ported FSX code to me. I’m hoping they did this just for a stopgap, and they are secretly working on a complete overhaul of the traffic engine. if that is the case it has to happen within the next 12months imo - anything less will be very disappointing frankly when world updates etc are being pumped out on a regular basis. When they have already crashed 7 times, they leave the MSFS, but the money: has already been invested. 2) those of us who want to fly, take off and land well, in an environment that is as close to realism as possible. but realism cannot be realism if the planes around you and their airlines are missing. They also spend money, and after: more money. Seems there is at least a third type - those like me that stopped reading right there. I started simming in the early 1980's and obviously didn't leave after crashing a 747 (which would have actually been the Learjet in SubLogic FlightSim II at the time) into a mountain or whatever 7 times. And I really don't give a rat's patoot about having authentic airliner traffic. Seriously, how would I know or care - I'm not constantly checking against FlightAware as I enjoy my simulated flying endeavors. Just like I wouldn't do in real life. If you have to categorize the entire community into two extremely narrow bands of users you obviously are out to make a very flimsy point. To the extent I expect this to fall on deaf ears but it bears stating anyway. Edited September 19, 20214 yr by Stoopy "That's what" - She

September 19, 20214 yr And...... As usual I have planes going every which way..... Taxiing, (though apparently not taking off) landing, going around, and generally just filling the sky to the point I was just wondering last night about how often I get close to mid-air collisions with Ai planes, as they happily toot just past my windshield when there's a whole empty open sky for them to be in, instead. Again, different experiences, what can I say? 😕 We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. September 19, 20214 yr I can remember using FSX and having real online AI traffic using a 3pd addon and having the ability with a slider to reduce the amount of ai traffic from 100% to 10%. That ability would be very beneficial for users as we all have systems with different capabilities. It would allow users to be able to find the sweet spot between fps performance and the amount of ai traffic they have in the sim. I cant believe that after a year we have made no gains in this direction at all. Come on Asobo what good is all the nice scenery and airports without a working and proper ai traffic program? The airports right now are just a mess. Don System Intel core I9-10900.Asus prime Z490P motherboard, Corsair 32gb ddr4 dram, Samsung 970 EVO 1TB SSD and 1 TB Seagate Barracuda HD. I can only repeat myself: Post all this information at the wishlist topics, so one big topic get the votes and is getting on one of the top spots, splitting all the votes on different topics will not help 😉

You have a huge reach and influence in the community… Iceman(from FBW) did it for the weather and terrain API and within 2-3 days it went number 1 in the bugs list. Make a post asking for people to vote here and one in the FS forums and i wont be surprised if in the next developpment updated it will be top 3 in the wishlist!!
September 19, 20214 yr I also thought the team at AIG has direct communication with Asobo? We would gladly help upvote as well. Anything we can do as a community to push this to the forefront for Asobo to see at how badly this is needed in the sim. I have all the Data Connection options set to On, including Multiplayer, and I'm on the Western Europe server. Gets kinda lonely being the only one up there. I've been flying in Alaska, California and Bahamas. Nobody else is there. I am using the Live option when I fly with real world weather. Does anyone know why this would be?
