I didn't, seems to be working fine.
I'm not sure what we're supposed to do.

Edit: I have some issues clicking the tablet buttons, it takes a few clicks, but I don't know if its because I didn't uninstall the old one.

What email? I have never gotten an email from Milviz (Blackbird). The onus has always been on me to keep up with the updates. I don't even see customer login on the website. Good thing I did keep my download link though. That's all I have to update. I would like to know how to get on the email list though.

UPDATE: OK, I have downloaded from my original download link, installed and I see v1.1. Is that correct?

Regards

The file I have is named BBS_PC-6_v1.1.2_221216.

OK thanks, that is the the same file name I downloaded. My problem was I looked at the manifest file and it says v1.1, not v1.1.2. should be the correct version though. Appreciate the reply.

I've waited long time for this update. Am a steam gauge fan.

I saw a magazine article that said statistics show planes with steam gauges have fewer accidents. These gauges don't tell you as much as glass screens. But they show your situation immediately at a glance by the position of those big moving needles. You don't have to read numbers. You have the numbers on the dials memorized. All you need to see is the direction the needle is pointing.

Back to subject: this update is wonderful !

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Pretty cool but surprised the floats version is not amphibious especially since it was in P3D this way.  If memory serves even both ways.  Oh well at least we got the floats version finely!

A good re-review of the steam gauge (stage 2) version by Jonathon Beckett (who is quickly becoming another YouTube favourite of mine - I learn so much from his videos).
He found a small bug with the autopilot, which he got around easily, and he seems to think it is a good update.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Is it still a beta and besides the gauges, anything new ?

I think this is now the release version. I like the steam gauges but am disappointed that it does not support alternative GPS units (like the C310, clearly they know how to do it).

It looks like flight model has not changed and I still think it has to much thrust at idle.

Officialy its a release candidate, but I've no Idea if its actually any different to the Beta, there is no changelog or mention of any changes just that text file saying documentation to follow

Thanks, as my internet is capped I tend to download the ultimate version not intermediary ones
