The same thing happens with the Milviz Pilatus and Aviat Husky so my guess is default code in the SDK is responsible for this issue. This is strange, because certain aircraft like the Piaggio 149 can have the canopy open in flight without over-stressing to a black screen. I really don't know. it can't be that obscure because others like Just Flight and Iris have worked it out as well which makes it all the more disappointing when a top tier dev like Milviz release a plane without it.
