It almost doesn't matter what the plane is like on release. You all know it's gonna have the living daylights modded out of it. ✈️

Assuming it's encrypted the same way other airplanes on the Marketplace are, it'll be extremely difficult to modify, other than basic things like repaints.

As far as I'm aware, the 3rd party modifications for encrypted airplanes are few and far between (I think the Citation Longitude and 787 are the only major ones), and even those are limited in what they can actually change.

agreed, a basic AP along with an option for something like the 530 or gtn750 would be greatly appreciated. keep the ancient options but allow slightly more modernity for help with long hauls

It's encrypted so ability to do that seems severly limtted

You CAN fly with the windows open (which changes the sounds of course) but I have spotted some issues in the modernised version - the ADF radio picks up a signal (you can hear it with the tone switch) but it doesn't drive the ADF needle on the ADF/VOR indicator and the DME panel doesn't seem to work either.

The latter is a bigger problem since you don't have a GPS.

autopilot mod would be most welcome! Even it simply can hold heading and altitude!

I will try to retrofit with the simionic g1000 app on the ipad, it should work 🤔

Perhaps they will learn something from the Steam version, since those are not encrypted, apparently.

This modern panel is the one that Lufthansa fitted to the one they restored. Had the privilege of flying on it once as well as sharing the pattern with it on a couple of occasions.

Having tried both the modern version and the "1939" version, I think the engine sounds are different too -- which makes sense, given that Lufthansa fitted Pratt & Whitney Wasp engines as part of the restoration instead of the original BMW engines, which I believe the Ju-Air aircraft still have.

Mmmmh....15 euros is ok for this, but not one euro more. Sounds are imho mediocre, and in level flight the elevators are deflected all the way up. Needs quite some work.

File is about 2.3 GB to download and was not a single file. And after being decompressed / installed it became 4.5 GB.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

I will wait for a patch or three and see how things go.
