"The following bugs will be fixed in Sim Update 6 (Oct. 19th)"...

Is this a mistake?  It seems really cut down.  The original list of patch notes for the 'Flighting' seemed to scroll on and on forever.

Maybe it is just a summary, but I can't see any mention of the latitude calculation bug that causes a few issues.  It was listed previously.

This bug snapshot seems inaccurate or the SU6 release notes do not contain all of the fixes. So confusing.

Yep.  I think they make life hard for themselves sometimes and duplicate the admin / communication work.

They could have just provided a link to the original SU6 patch notes...

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sim-update-6-flight-now-live/459829

..with maybe a quick note if they have had to remove or postpone a couple of fixes.

Maybe they thought the original long list would bore people.
I have a high tolerance to boredom though...  I need it, working in the office with the people I do (been talking about the best cooking apples today ).
Then again, I probably bore them going on about Flight Sim!  😆

So, I read nothing about live weather fixes. Its been on the road map for months that fixes were coming for live weather in SU6 + SU7. Very disappointed.

Allegedly there are fixes in SU6, but I don't know much more than it. 🙂

Hope they can at least address the atmospheric pressure discontinuities...

Yesterday I was making EGLL-LPPT ( FBW A320Nx Dev. version ) and nearing cruise ( FL370 ) with Std Baro set, I had a sudden jump enroute to Brest... All of a sudden my altimeter jumped down from 36400 ' to around 34400 😕 ruining my climb and any will to continue the flight... Comming from Aerowinx PSX this is the sort of stuff I can't really digest 😕

It really depends whether you want them firm after cooking for a pie or fritters etc or melted into a compote. But I see I bore you 🤣

Those are just specifically the bugs that have popular threads on the forum. There will probably be more stuff in the actual patch notes next week.

Is there a hidden meaning behind the fact that every featured screenshot in this update is blatantly displaying an upside down aircraft? Is it because Sim Update 6 is going to turn our world upside down, or just our addons? Stay tuned, soon all will be revealed!!! And this post subsequently vanishes in a puff of smoke💨

LOL Steve do you step onto a plane thinking the engines are going to fail... 🙂 this patch has some long term fixes for the community and some decent love for VR as well. All good in my book but lets hope that's all we get! 😉 ✈️

I must admit I read this differently. I thought they were highlighting some long term bugs from the community. Never imagined this to be an exhaustive list. They've said themselves there are plenty of fixes which go into these patches they don't report on.

Good call out but as per usual lets see what the patch notes say. I wouldn't worry too much about this at the moment, but feel free to reply if you are correct!! 🙂

It at least mentions "live weather and wind readings inaccurate" to be fixed in SU6 and 7.

Haha...no, I'm optimistic for the update. Was just having a laugh!😁 I'm a glass half full kind of guy 😉

Flybye, Replay and Tower view.? Maybe some camera "head shake" and smoke effects. Its a beautiful scenery with a dull atmosphere.
