Appears to be new.  Interesting way to deal with their growing pains.

EDIT: I started at 291 and it's down to 146 in the time it took to write and post the above.  <-- Now 98 in the time it took to write that.  No big deal...

You are now in line. Thanks for your patience.

We are experiencing an unusual high volume of traffic and using a virtual queue to limit the amount of visitors on the website at the same time. This will ensure you have the best possible online experience.

This has been going on for months, don't know exactly how long. High demand creates a queue that doesn't last very long at all.

It's time for Avsim and Flightsim.com to once again be our primary download sites.  Not sure how Flightsim.to cornered the market since the release of FS2020 but we've never had these kinds of issues in the 20+ years of use on our legacy sites.  Our third party community needs to come back home.

Because the library on those sites (no offence) are old and outdated and isn't as appealing and really that easy to use compared to Flightsim.to. The search on Avsim for example has been hit and miss for a long time. It's also a bit of a pain to upload items as well.

Flightsim.com

I can remember, that this side was often busy and not avaible. Also remember that the idea was to get money for the login.

Thats why I go to AVSIM.

I is possible that the reason that Flightsim.to has a queue is because they have a very large selection of high-quality products? Perhaps more so than Avsim or Flightsim.com?

My system specs: Intel [email protected] - 5.2 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB  DDR4  RAMNoctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler,1TB Seagate SSD, 4TB Seagate HD, Windows 10, Asus 32 inch monitor, Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals and Trim Wheel     Sims: MSFS2020      Preferred Aircraft  Black Square Bonanza, and Baron, A2A Comanche, PMDG DC-6, Red Wing L1049

It seems they're having trouble with their servers. They were down this past week for about one entire day.

I think, one of the biggest problems is not all the addons, but all the updates too.

I hate it from some updates to get the whole file from about 300 Mb for a change of a few byte, someone twice the week.

Also that you have to wait the same time, as when you get a new file, thats hurt.

(At the beginning from Flightsim.to you can get from your account the downloads of updates directly.)

I am experiencing another issue with .TO.  Very recently on some occasions I will point at a new item or update and click to navigate to it.  Nothing happens, or, the page jumps up or down a bit, but it fails to navigate.  My mouse pointer stays as an arrow only and I cannot successfully click on any item unless I reload the site.

That just happened again.  Only today, with this new gateway counter, after I got in, I found an item of interest and clicked on it.  Again my mouse pointer changed and I was not taken to the item.  So I refreshed.  it jumped me back to the end of the queue.  Not good.

Actually, I have noticed the same as AviatorMan. That flightsim.to has far far more MSFS 2020 content than here and the other usual go to sites combined. I wonder why the authors of the content are’nt using the usual sites as much anymore.

Well with a 320 second countdown to even access the site (Flightsim.to),  Avsim and Flightsim.com are batting a thousand right now in comparison.  🙄

This is not good right up against a Sim Update about to be released in the next couple of days.  If history is repeated many updates to add-ons may be needed and at this point will be very hard to access.
