If the work has started then i'm sure they will give an update when its worth saying something. Conversely .. .you can purchase an addon to give you the desired effect.. I just flew into a small airport in New Hampshire (KLCI) on an AirHauler run in the CJ4 and it was one of the nicest scenes I have seen in a flight sim. October 25, 20214 yr I bought it but quite frankly I'm not interested in moving files in and out per location and time of year that feels like back in FSX days. I look forward to seasons being truly integrated which I'm sure Asobo will be doing--this feels pretty crude by MSFS' standards. But...good for now and kudos to the dev for working on it.
