Sorry Frank, I'm certainly not an advanced user like you, but as I rely on Addon Linker for each session- there is NEVER a conflict as only the aircraft I am currently using is loaded.  No worries about compatibility that way... perhaps I misunderstood your question?

Hi

I got the G36 Mod down, but where do I find the hanger mod to download

Anthony

Now if only Asobo would fix the gaping hole in the fuselage, this would be by favorite plane.

The hanger custom window is in the dev version.

I'm working on it at the moment so it really is just an empty window.

Eventually however we will add all our mod options and aircraft persistence settings etc. there. My ultimate aim is to add further systems modelling aka A2A, but I'm working on the foundation at present.

Sadly they do not play nice together; we have got a branch that used to work with Rob's turbo mod, but we've not looked at that for a while.

We did try and make our Mod compatible with the Turbo Mod but there were some issues behind the scenes.

At the moment we are not supporting the patched version for the Turbo mod as the sim has progressed quite a lot and we are developing significant new features that make merging the two mods difficult.

Best we can suggest is a little trial and error for the time being.

Hopefully once we have our own base mod feature complete we'll revisit compatibility.

Fingers crossed for compatibility thanks!

Thank you for your hard work on this mod.  I prefer the turbo but I swap back and forth sometimes.

My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL |
| Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I prefer this one to the Turbo.  Both are fantastic though and absolutely on par with or exceed many of the GA payware options currently available.  Thank you for all of your work on this.

I like both, both bring different things, both have there own flavour. My problem is I like speed so 200Kts wins most of the time.

The two together would be fantastic.

And this one does that speed on 15 GPH or less with only one engine to maintain!  For now the Baron is in the hangar in mothballs!

Oh but where oh where is my Turbine Duke v2?

CaptMatto,
I have not had the opportunity to explore this new improved version since my download but the changelog promises a depth in systems for a general aviation model not seen in my humble opinion since the Realair Duke and Realair Turbine Duke, and certainly not seen yet in MSFS.  It would be incredible and totally unequalled to have two variants of the Bonanza with that depth, this G36 improvement model that is naturally asperated, and a complimentary G36 Turbo Bonanza.  The successful pattern is there in history!  Would love to see the two worked in with the best of both.  Speaking of  simulator Hall of Fame material!

0.6.6 Beta 2.1 - Update Released

Hi All

I’ve just released a small change to 0.6.6 Beta 2 on our development branch GitHub - https://github.com/TheFrett/msfs_g36_project/tree/development

Update:

  • The aircraft persistence is now saved by livery rather than tail number. This change makes it much easier for the user to keep track of their aircraft rather than relying on remembering what tail number they were using across the fleet.

We are limited by what we can achieve as our two licences (ours is GNU General Public License & Robs is his own) are not massively conducive to being able to collaborate. Please do know my last statement is definitely not a criticism in any licence model or dev, I respect and understand why they are made. I just want to be honest.

As the mods diverge on their own paths it will become a lot more difficult to merge them. I am adding a lot more systems modelling into the background and as this develops the chances of making a patch to work with Rob's excellent turbo will reduce. Once we have our mod feature complete I'll go back and look at our patch and hopefully make the two aircraft work together.
