It doesn't even work with CTRL+e for me. I can get the prop to spin but it doesn't fire don't forget to turn the fuel valve down by your left knee. try that before flipping the 4 switches in the middle (ignition, pump, etc). Should start right up
November 19, 20214 yr I'm not really sure why it seems we keep expecting study level aircraft when Asobo has pretty much made it clear both verbally and with their actual offerings over the last year or so that they have no great intentions of doing that. If you want to know how different the PC-6 compare to Milviz. Try to follow this checklist https://fsprocedures.com/index.php/pilatus-pc-6/ This was taken from the Milvinz Checklist documentation. True, I’m happy with them just getting the simulation world right and aircraft by others…but some things should just not be released and the pc-6 should have just been left in the oven on high. But I guess for casual simmers/gamers it does the trick. For me at least, this not an issue. I suspect strongly that except for the type of super-enthusiasts you might find at sites like this, very few actual users will ever get that involved to that degree with this airplane, and even of the few who do, I again suspect they'll probably either (rather quickly) come up with a their own severely abbreviated checklists, or they will simply hit control-E For those who demand more.... November 19, 20214 yr It seems that there is a double speech : on one side, the sim is supposed to be tailored for casual gamers (unfortunately and wrongly assimilated to "anything goes gamers") and on the other hand, it is supposed to give the taste of aviation to a new generation. But I am rambling here 😀. Back to topic. It is not complicated and very mildly technical and fun to open a valve, start the battery, start the avionics, switch the starter, check that the oil is coming up, see the prop turning, switch ignition, look at Ng and switch the condition lever etc etc.(I hope I didn't forget anything !). It takes less than a minute and gives some satisfaction (I did it, look Mum the prop is turning ). No need of a Ph. D. and you start to understand the beast under your buttock. November 19, 20214 yr There are at least two types of people attracted to something like MSFS. Broadly speaking, they are those who wish to be (real) pilots, and those who wish to pretend to be pilots for a bit, and mostly for curiosity or fun. There should be room for both, but for some reason, there almost always seems to be friction.... And generally not from the casuals, who again, broadly speaking, could not possibly care less what the enthusiasts are going on about. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. November 19, 20214 yr Asobo seem to have become convinced that Condition Levers are switches not axis so they have messed up the binding in the process of doing whatever they are doing to them.

I think that's a bug that should be reported. I think with a few things fixed here and there, the Asobo PC-6 is all right, and I say that having some hours on the Milviz PC-6 both in MSFS and in P3D. If you want more out of your PC-6 than the Asobo one, you pay more for the aftermarket PC-6 (soon to bePC-6's if the FSG one appears). In my view it becomes a matter of opinion as to what is "all right" for a default aircraft. Some think a default should have x, y, and z working. Others think a,b, and c are needed. There is no right or wrong answer on that. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
November 19, 20214 yr Why not just relax a bit and wait? I'm very certain that the Asobo one will get a great community mod down the line. Once modded, it will definitely be able to compete with the payware options... [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE
