November 25, 20214 yr really a joke that now, next to sh..ty performance we also talk about having clouds or not. Come on Asobo, get you job done ! Carsten U
November 25, 20214 yr There was one reason I have been doing most of my flying on MSFS recently, scenery. There is now no reason to fly here as that is gone. They must have a rather foolish contract of exclusivity with their so called weather provider as they are certainly taking a lot of much deserved flack and loss of customers through this. November 25, 20214 yr This probably would have looked "good" from above too: clouds emerging from the ground, and no resemblance with the METAR (Live weather yesterday evening after the servers were back, time changed to daylight): Asus ROG STRIX X870-E Gaming; Ryzen9 9950X3D; RX9070XT; 96GB RAM; 4GB/2GB M.2 SSD; 8GB HDD; LG 45GX90SA-B

But seriously, what's the benefit of the "new system"? If you look at the comparison I posted this morning, this "new system" has nothing to do with real weather. People are giving for granted that the low clouds are due to a misinterpretation of the METAR altitude but I doubt because the same issue is observed at sea level. 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber

I'm happy with it, to be honest. Although when they start introducing ray tracing, I'll try not to look at any screenshots from those with RTX cards 😉
November 25, 20214 yr what ? it already costs 3000 bucks ? 🤑 *******... - I paid about 1600€ for mine (new) in late winter 2021 ! but back to the weather - just did a test in LOWW - didn't really notice a change !! I haven't flown a single flight after I saw that, it's great they can drop a untested update and ruin your flight sim for weeks or months.
