I need to figure out how to do that. Cheers, Pete Pete Solov - Lake in the Hills 3CK and Schaumburg Regional 06CProud AOPA Member - PPL 2001Real World Piper Cherokee Pilot

December 4, 20214 yr i have also been running W11 for months , and if i remember to continually run Windows updates atleast twice a day when using the PC , i find i have way less CTD's than W10 , it could be luck or placebo but iam very happy with it . iam now on V5.3 with FSL great 😁 ROG Crossair Hero X670e , 9900X, TUF 4090 , X4 NVME's. December 4, 20214 yr windows 11 will install on any machine if you install from scratch, tpm is only required through windows update, and you just need to turn tpm on with boards 2018 and newer, you don't actually have to buy a physical chip for it to work. at least on intel boards.

I’m running a 3090 so not short on VRAM as i understand it but any tips you may have gratefully received 👍 787 captain. December 4, 20214 yr Well, I just migrated fully to Win 11 and so far very well impressed ! It was a two stage migration. Started by a dual boot, maintaining my Win 10 partition, but after less than an hour experimentiing with Win 11 I decided to erase ALL partitions, on both NVME 2 SSDs, and install Win 11 fresh from and USB stick. The nly simulator I have installed so far is MFS, which I pushed again from the cloud this morning. Wow it runs in DX12 beta mode far better than ever in Win 10 ! I did have to roll back the latest Nvidia drivers because I was getting constant CTDs. That could well be the reason for the errors I got in P3D after upgrading to 5.3. Next step will be a P3d install. December 4, 20214 yr I've been on windows 11 for a month or so. All good. I performed the quick registry mod to bring my right click context menu's back to WIN10 type. December 4, 20214 yr Stardock's Start11 + WinaeroTweaker to tweak a few things, including bringing back the old context menu. Turned it into a Windows 10 experience, essentially. Though Start11 allowed me for more comprehensive version of the Windows 10 menu I used to have, so might even be a tad better. Though as default, they added some mind-boggling things and the start menu is borderline useless. New versions are always better. I'm using Win 11 from day 1, and since a few days P3Dv5.3. Works like a charm. Edited December 4, 20214 yr by kiek
