However was able to run this update earlier with folder full, as have others so YMMV maybe...

I am in the same boat mate! Where is this exactly? With all the teething issues maybe i think ill wait for the official release...?

Yes I'm guessing by the lack of response this is only the BETA test and not he actual release.

I too will wait for the official patch.

It's the beta, you can activate it in the XBox Insider Hub app or on Steam clicking on the properties of the game.

At that time Antalya airport METAR was reporting clouds between 2000 and 3000 ft and light rain. Visibility was high, I don't remember exactly but it was pretty spot on.

That was a neat video. Though, I honestly would have expected a more dramatic downdraft when flying into a downpour like that. Especially being in such a small plane...Oh well. They'll get to it..eventually lol

Well - no need to guess given that the title of the thread spells it out very clearly: Public Beta Just Updated...

Clouds seem to have improved. Less pixelation.

All settings medium. 

No snow cover on ground, though.

My apologies for growing old and not keeping up with the whole Public Beta.

For many years now AVSIM has been helpful and understanding of different peoples needs, especially to those of us who have been into Flight Simulation for most of our lives, this was a genuine forum to attend, and seek out those friends that were truly interested in helping us.

How life has changed.

Unless you are in live weather, you can put snow on the ground using the drop-down weather menu.
