Rex Weather Force

Then you have some other problem.

Yeah...I have no clue.  I get clouds when I use a pre-selected environment or my own setup, but nothing "Live".  Never experienced this with FS9 or FSX.

Hello All,

As I transition to build now IFR airplanes I find myself very frustrated with MSFS live weather winds, etc. here is a sample video of the winds changing all the time with MSFS live weather:

This is driving me insane to be frank, and I am considering using REX sky force. Can you guys share your experience with REX winds depictions? how it works now? do we have now smooth transitions? no FPS hits, etc.? this is important for me because I am testing add-ons I am building and of course I need to measure my own FPS load, etc.

Thanks in advance,
Raul

From what I'm seeing in my sim Rex Tex and Weather and still awaiting and update to work in SU11. Winds are a tad better but not by much and if FPS and transitions are important then it's brutal but that's my opinion. I like Accuseason but Tex is alright but Weather has a way to go still.

I'm at a point where I can't fly real weather anymore in GA. I like real weather but when it comes to real vs realism they seem to have lost touch with reality. I keep asking for a "wind force slider" but to no avail.

Me too, I am desperate for a solution so going to give REX a chance and configure updates with 300ms, etc. to keep FPS good

Ok anyone can tell me why this is gray out and cannot be used?

REX has been talking about adding these features in a future update sometime maybe. Nothing about their use in the current manual.

If I could ever get a refund for anything related to flight simulation, it would be REX Weather Force.

Simply turn off Frame Rate Improvements.  Then they are available.  REX has given several ways to use the settings and some are mutually exclusive. As a user base as a group we have many, many, system configurations. Take whichever path provides the best performance and appearance on your system.

Uncheck all but perhaps the temp conversion.  They should all then become available.  Enable Real Time Weather injection.  Both Weather Load options should still be available.  You should be able then to select one of the two.  That will gray the other out.  You should also be able to select Enable Aerosol at any time.

I don't think you understand what I am asking, I mean the flight center, historical weather, interactive map, etc. the buttons at the bottom.
