Aerosoft Twin Otter Sound Demo!

Featured Replies

I've never been impressed with AS's sound packages. I have the FTSim sound pack for the CRJ and it sounds 100 times better. Hopefully someone will do the same for this Twotter.

I have the worst audio on my computer...just 2 lousy external speakers.  Probably something I should upgrade.  Do you have a recommendation of a system from Best Buy or similar Canadian store ?

I have the "Logitech Z-5500 THX-Certified 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Speaker" system and am quite happy with it.   Bought it at Best Buy around 5 or 6 years ago. Maybe even longer.   Looks like Logitech still sells a similar system like the Z906.

The sub is big, but the 5 speakers are small, and don't take up a lot of space, but they sure do sound good with plenty of power.

I had the predecessor to this system a few years ago! One of the best systems I have ever owned. The sub is fantastic and brings realism to a new level! I am only using a pair of Bose external speakers now, but I just might re-invest to that Logitech system. Guaranteed to get complaints from your wife or partner when you crank the volume.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm super excited!

It will be my first Aerosoft Twin Otter purchase and experience as I've skipped the FSX/P3D version.

Actually, I'm just fooling around patiently waiting for Aerosoft to release Twotter! An hour from now? 3 Hours???

Tomorrow sometime (CET)

Timing may depend on whether, like the CRJ, Aerosoft are contractually required to release it on the Marketplace at the same time as on their own store.

Should be around 1500z (that's the usual time for Aerosoft releases). This time there seems to be no contract between Aerosoft and MS about a simultaneous release. Mathijs Kok just posted that the files were sent to MS but he doesn't know when the airplane will be released in the marketplace.
