February 10, 20224 yr ORBX via CEO Anna - announced plans for 2022 What we are working on - 2022 Edited February 15, 20224 yr by cmpbellsjc Edited spelling of title and content to ORBX
February 10, 20224 yr Haven't heard of Orbyx nor Oryx. Orbx on the other hand rings a bell. Is this the company you are referring to?

February 10, 20224 yr [announcement] What we are working on - 2022 - Orbx Company Updates - Orbx Community and Support Forums (orbxdirect.com) The only project that I find really interesting is a mesh for South America. If it is up to the Himalayas quality we are in for a treat. Also intrigued by the Panama Canal Landmarks. February 10, 20224 yr I`m still waiting for the Asia OLC that was due 2021 in the last roadmap . Raymond Fry.
February 10, 20224 yr I don't have any way of knowing how much work Orbx contributed to the AU WU7 release for MSFS but I'm sure they did a lot. Somebody built all of those building and bridge models and added boats and lifted various piers out of the water. I find it impressive and I hope they decide to bring more things into the marketplace. | Dave | I've been around for most of my life. There's always a sunset happening somewhere in the world that somebody is enjoying.
February 10, 20224 yr My request for the ORBx road map would be for someone to straighten the misaligned runway centreline markings in the P3D version of EGPN Dundee Edited February 10, 20224 yr by Christopher Low Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
February 10, 20224 yr I don't pay much heed to ORBX's "roadmaps" any more. They tease products, claim a release date, and then miss the date by a year or more. They're all about marketing and more of a corporate mindset now. They even give themselves corporate titles like "CEO". So, they have shareholders now, too, then? Will they be listing on the stock exchanges? They've also recently gotten rid of their support forums and one must submit a support ticket to get help. Sad. Dave Simulator: P3Dv6.1 System Specs: Intel i7 13700K CPU, MSI Mag Z790 Tomahawk Motherboard, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Video Card, 3x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 2280 SSDs, Windows 11 Home OS My website for P3D stuff: https://sites.google.com/view/thep3dfiles/home
February 14, 20224 yr I've been waiting for Cote d'Azur for four years. I don't expect to ever see it.
February 14, 20224 yr A bit like the mythical Guernsey and Jersey. They just managed to stumble out of the door with Alderney before the Microsoft tsunami hit the English Channel, but the plans for the other islands have been washed away Edited February 14, 20224 yr by Christopher Low Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

Dave A roadmap has never been a commitment to release. It is a view on what a company works. Being Intel or Orbx to take two extremes. I find it nice to get some inkling on what they work even if the release is uncertain. Shareholders ? You don't need to be listed to have shareholders. Where the initial funding and further non-debt investments come from if not from the owners aka shareholders ? Orbx is a private company with several shareholders. One can discuss the relevance of getting rid of the forums. I don’t know the rationale but if the support ticket system works where is the problem ? Just to try to clarify a couple of points raised above and earlier - JV is the majority shareholder with around 90% - so I don't think that somehow "he has left the company" as intimated earlier. It's very easy to just Google the Company results and info on whose who - before making incorrect assumption🤐

You are absolutely right,I say more or less the same it in another thread. There is a construction over several threads at Avsim, typical of Internet, of a mythical Orbx, now and then ! It’s funny, out of all the 4 letter acronym FS developers, only ORBX gets misspelled all the time. If I had $10 for every time I saw it called ORBYX, I wouldn’t be a millionaire, but I’d have a lot of extra money. 😂😂 FSDT - no problem PMDG - no problem REX - no problem ORBX - problem, many times reverts to Orbyx or other versions. Can’t figure out how this one gets misspelled all the time. Btw, I edited the title and first line of the post to reflect the actual name. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
February 15, 20224 yr @cmpbellsjc I think Carenado wins this race, I believe it is the most mispelled name in the history of flight simulators 🤣
