I am using FS2Crew with the Exp version and it seems to work fine for the most part. I had one checklist skip ahead but it seemed to self correct. Mark CYYZ

March 26, 20224 yr I have tried this now for a couple of days with very complicated DPs and STARs. Absolutely flawless. Well done to the FBW team. Petraeus
March 26, 20224 yr Well done FBW team, I like to test your experimental versions! Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).
March 26, 20224 yr Would you guys recommend the exp version over the dev? I'm assuming it includes everything in the dev version plus more, including VNAV. It is just as stable as the Dev in my opinion but leads the dev in features. If there are hiccups, which has been so seldom that I can’t really recall any, they have it fixed in a matter of hours. Just get in the habit of updating every day before launching the sim as almost guaranteed, it will have a fresh update everyday. It literally is getting better by the day! March 26, 20224 yr Commercial Member EXP VERSION- Just did a flight from Sydney to Brisbane and I always check the FBW for updates, seems after the update before my flight the VNAV was removed? After I landed checked again, another update, is it back? Or did I do something wrong?

I think I’m doing something wrong. Both flights I’ve done with the VNAV, the plane is way too high and misses constraints. I’m setting her down at the T/D point, but she’s off by several thousands both times. Both times in managed mode. I’m NOT saying it’s FBW’s fault, I’m sure it’s my fault. Hopefully some more documentation is posted about it. Apologies if there already is, but I haven’t seen any.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing almost exactly as I used to on the FSlabs buses back in p3d.

March 27, 20224 yr I usually start my descent about 160 miles out as I don't want to use speed brakes and had a tail wind, was surprised to see the descent marker a few miles a head of me so tried vnav and it took me down below 10,000 and 250 without my help, very good work.

Did a managed descent and was way too high. I have no problems with the dev version without VNAV being implemented. I thought VNAV was suppose to take me down automatically while obeying constraints? I am starting my descent about 120-160 miles out too. So should be plenty of time for the plane to come down.
