March 24, 20224 yr Oh my ... 😧 Just updated MSFS and installed the hand crafted LPFR Faro airport and what can I say... was this scenery made by Gaya? Cause the runway is lacking ALL markings beyond the aiming point, the aiming point position is wrong, the touchdown zone markings before the aiming point are partly missing and misplaced and previous Gaya sceneries had the same issue. This company releases sceneries since years now and still, they simply do not take a couple minutes time to go to chartfox.org, type in the ICAO code of the airport they want to recreate for MSFS or simply look on google maps to see what the runway and their markings looks like. Not complaining about a free update in good freeware quality but the lack of accuracy in - as far as I can see - all of Gaya's sceneries (if LPFR is created by them) is a clear red flag for me when they release payware airports for MSFS 🚩🚩🚩

I decided that this was stupid, because I wanted to see the new scenery, so I switched to the scattered clouds preset. The scenery looks great. 99% of the time I do fly with real weather.

March 24, 20224 yr Hi, These artifacts near Madrid were there before WU 8. I think it is caused by an addon (I think it is Bijan ships or marinas or someting like that, I can’t remember now). Another thing: some of the cities of this update appear to me very “melted” (Lisbon or Tenerife, for instance). Regards. Edited March 24, 20224 yr by John Fields
March 24, 20224 yr I dont know why Asobo insist in such a complicate way to update MSFS.- In this case, once you initiate the sim, it first sends you back to the M.Store, where you must find the way to find the update, which is not easy and diferent each time, second you must download a mandatory update from the sim itself. So why updates can't I be downloaded everytime from within the game as happens at all other games ?

I suspect you mean Bijans Islands,Boats,Huts,Trees Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out now with that disabled. As for the PG, the first place I flew today was Lisbon and it was as good a PG as I've seen. Very crisp, no LOD pop-in, not melted. Possibly an internet issue on your side or something sever side? EDIT: Removal of Bijans Islands, boats etc mod solved it. Thanks you! Edited March 24, 20224 yr by The Moose

I bet Italy will get this new detailed LOD in the next update. Wow, that would be something. Scenery wise that pretty much covers it, for me anyway.
