March 24, 20224 yr The trees blend in with the landscape a lot better, imo, and the atmospheric lighting is really nice.

According to the forums, the update was ready two days ago, delayed due to known reasons and now it is pushed out but the patch notes etc. will only be released some 5 hours later? Don't really get it, but then it is also not that important, still strange approach... The question is not "what", but "how much", varying from WU to SU. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
March 24, 20224 yr Maybe gradually the whole world will lose the roundish mountains as Asobo updates regions little by little. I bet Italy will get this new detailed LOD in the next update. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
March 24, 20224 yr they go to alot of effort to make hand crafted airports and faro is really nice but leaves the satellite imagery to bleed through the taxi ways to make it look poor.
March 24, 20224 yr The update process seemed more straightforward this time on PC with a store purchased installation. Started the sim and then straight to a download screen, when that had finished the sim started and then to content manager for the updates by region. Currently flying from Pamplona to Barcelona in the stock 172 glass cockpit. All seems smooth and good to me at this stage. A nice flight. March 24, 20224 yr I suppose the wise thing to do is check your Community folder and remove all the add on airports that are listed as having been worked on in this update? Otherwise some abnormalities might result. March 24, 20224 yr What airports have been enhanced by Gaya Sim? Gaya handcrafted 4 & ORBX detailed 100. Now that my installation finished I see that LECO, LESU, LPFR, and LPPI are the ones enhanced. Edited March 24, 20224 yr by DJJose MSFS

I am running out of space as well. What actually happens in this case, can you spread out the World Updates to another drive or is the only option to buy a new one and move the entire install ? March 24, 20224 yr I have Store and Steam versions. Store version updated and started. Content Manager showed all required updates. Downloaded and started first time for ages. Pleased 🙂 Steam version downloaded and started. Content Manager showed all required updates . Downloaded and started, ***BUT*** 50% or so into the load, just before the new screen showing the "Updated Country "Flags" I get "Flight Simulator is Not Responding" then, a few seconds later I see "Suspended" in Task Manager, Only way out is Ctrl Alt Del. Rinse and repeat, same issue. Second time in a row for the Steam update. Community Folder is empty and all control devices are disconnected. If I could find a way to overcome this pain in the rear, I would, again, be most pleased. BR All. M. Very Best Wishes, Dr T. Maurice Murphy
March 24, 20224 yr It's a shame that they don't do their research. There's a payware of LECO and it's one of the best add-ons airports we already have. MSFS

It is my understanding that you can remove the unnecessary WU. If you like to fly in that part of the world, just go and install it. For instance, I don´t have the Australia WU installed... March 24, 20224 yr So, this is how much research they did. 3 of the 4 airports are available as payware. So much for supporting the 3rd party developer. MSFS

I assume that means, when this is done, we can just get the World Updates from the Content Manager, and there would be no updates to the core code of MSFS. Anyways, that's their plan for the future. That's been always a request, since they were mixing SU's with WU's. Hopefully they'll get things sorted out in this direction soon.
