What I don't understand is how they got/get around the licensing issues, assuming it's true that Honda is skittish about these things.

Not sure whether calling it the "HJet" is going to solve this.

I mean, if I start selling Apple computers under my name but call them "Granny Smiths" - I doubt that that's going to satisfy Apple.

That's a bad comparison. It's more like you would be selling a digital recreation of an Apple computer and call it "Granny Smiths". He's not selling a real plane, but a digital creation of it. As long as Honda can be sure there will be no youtube videos with their aircraft AND a big "Honda" logo crashing into the Empire State Building, they probably don't care.

Well, all cars in GTA for example are based on a real-life counterpart. As long as they do not use the logo or the name, it should be fine I guess.

None of the vehicles in GTA are 1:1 copies of real vehicles though. They're usually hybrids different designs or just inspired by real ones.

I don’t understand the need to fight someone else’s battle in these forums. Let the developer/distributors worry about the licensing and just enjoy the new HJet. 😂

Sweet! Can almost see the color changing in the pic. Looks like the plane is being flown from the right seat. What is the serrated part at the bottom of the front windshield?

Pilot is in the left seat hehe but yeah it looks that way for some reason.  That's a heating element and it's kinda a trademark of the jet.

Does this Jet have an easy mode ? I'm tired of trying, and, having to remember how to correctly set up, and, fly every new plane.

The whole jet is like a playstation hahah 

It's very automated.  If you can fly the default Cessna with g1000 this one just moves a bit faster.
