There is a mod for it, although I am not too familiar with it and have no idea if it is a big improvement and if it works in all aircraft that use a KAP 140. https://github.com/FS2020-USER-TESTER/KAP140-MOD-PACKAGE That is extremely interesting, I'd seen the older project from 2021 but I wasnt aware there was an active project. Thanks
May 4, 20224 yr So far, the plane is OK... I tried doing engine shutdown in flight, the right prop would not feather, the left one feathered fine. I do have failures set to occasional, so I thought it could be the prop governor, but, if that were the case, I wouldn't be able to set the RPM at all. Dunno if it's a control binding issue. The second one, and one of my biggest pet peeves with GA piston planes is, no one in this sim has yet shown a RISE in EGT when doing a mag check. Every single one of them shows a decrease. When one magneto is firing, the burn takes longer, so on the exhaust stoke, the burn is still happening giving a higher EGT readout. It's a small detail that increases fidelity in my mind, and helps seal the deal, as it were. I did have a landing gear indication light failure which was cool, but IRL I'd use the bulb from a good indication to see if it's an actual gear problem, or a light problem. In the sim, we have the luxury of going to external view and checking. But, I think it'd be cool if there were a way to do the former. Single engine performance is pretty good, gotta do a Vmc demo, but so far, I'm happy with how it performs. (never flew a 310, only 402's). For each of those I can make the same judgement on whether they are worth the cost and buy or not buy accordingly. May 4, 20224 yr @Matchstick. He said five times the AP is a dealbreaker for him and doesn’t think it’s worth the money as is. That’s it. Why continue incessantly with busting his chops. I don’t agree with this, but I’m not laying out the money(yet). For me, it’s the 310 or the 414. Simple as that. We all have our own opinions, as it should be.
May 4, 20224 yr Overall I like it, but it's not the most fun aircraft to land, it falls down like a brick. Edited May 4, 20224 yr by Ixoye System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I

May 4, 20224 yr In the Twitch stream, they talked about approaching at speeds that are to low. They recommended 106 kts for approach and slowly dropping throttle through threshold all the way to runway, inferring to not totally shut down the throttle until touch down. 3 minutes ago, Ixoye said: Overall I like it, but it's not the most fun plane to land, it falls down like a brick.

This was noted in the comments by a real life 310 pilot in one of the YouTube videos I watched. He said they would always keep it above the blue line until flair. 9800X3D | 5090 | 64GB DDR5 | LG C2 42"

Real world pilots confirm it can't be landed like many other aircraft. Chop the power and flair and it drops like a brick. They also mentioned full flap shouldn't be used unless the runway is made. T45 Beautiful graphics, really accurate (based on what real 310 pilots have said) in terms of flight, works well, awesome little systems details, tis a keeper imho. I don't keep most planes I buy, but this one is staying. The fly it onto the runway is well simulated, you cut power like people have said it dives down... its flown onto the runway, little different, but accurate based on information and actual flight videos/testemony. It has real personality. Oh yeah, take off with the baggage doors open, see what happens! (they actually have an effect)
