But pressing them multiple times will. Is it just me, or does 'Flaps Up' only seem to work on descent, and "Flaps Down" only seems to work on ascent? On the ground, my assigned button lowers them for TO just fine. Once airborne, my flaps up button wont work so I use the handle (a quick test shows flaps down button working here). On approach, my flaps down button says phooey on me so I have to lower them with the handle (a test shows that flaps up does work at this point). After landing, the flaps up button works great. If they would act up in reverse I wouldn't even know there was a problem. 😁 i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

I didn't notice the correlation between ascending and descending vs flaps extend or retract working or not from my flaps control - just some inconsistent behaviors. But this is not deploying the sim rate in the latest version of Fenix (on my end at least). Works on the other non Fenix aircraft within MSFS. I did check the FMGC and EFB to see if there was a special assignment for sim rate, but not as far as I could determine. Any ideas on what may be happening? June 2, 20224 yr I had the same question, time acceleration key bindings still don’t work and I couldn’t find another way to do it in the aircraft. Other than that, a great patch (performance increase is appreciated!) in a short period of time after release. Edit: turns out it's in the maintenance section of the MCDU. After two weeks of flying the Fenix today I decided to try the PMDG 737, and I spent the whole flight missing the A320! That tablet is so useful; so much better than navigating through those FMC menus on the 737. It is all the little details, like that the jetway just automatically connects. Needless to say, I angered the 737 until PMDG brings its tablet and refinements. Great job Fenix! MSFS 2024. June 2, 20224 yr I was able to turn off my iGPU and put the Fenix Displays back on the 3090. Took off out of Vegas with Vatsim traffic and the departure and performance was silky smooth. Also after landing, cannot retract them with assigned axis. Re-assigned axis, still no go. Anyone seeing this? Stu I also have this issue. I did notice that about 1 minute after landing the speed brakes decided to retract. No amount of moving my assigned spolier axis or the aircrafts spoiler control would budge them.

I guess I got excited and spoke too soon. Interesting. I've spent the last 45 minutes taxiing around Flytampa KLAS in a thunderstorm at night with AIG traffic set to 100% I actually turned the FPS counter on. Getting 31-36 FPS and it is very smooth no stutters at all. I do see the occasional 28-29 FPS on the counter though. Turn the storm off and AIG traffic back to 65% and I'm in the 44 to lower 50s range. But taxiing KLAS at night and smooth? In both the PMDG 737 and the Fenix A320? Unheard of in the past. Now reality. Wish I knew what the FPS were before. Noy totally smooth, but smooth enough to enjoy. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
June 2, 20224 yr These guys are amazing....probably the best aircraft I have flown in a sim (started in 1988). Great to see a newcomer join the game and absolutely nail it right out of the gate... And even when the FPS dives and it starts to become a slideshow... it's a smooth slideshow. 😁 I am getting a pretty consistent 6-8 Fps lower than the 737. My performance evaluation area is KSFO Rwy 28R. Once comfortablly airborne, the A320 gives me a smooth 33 FPS, but just after liftoff, I briefly see as low as 19-20. It was exactly the same prior to today's patch. I see about 26 FPS with the 737 at that spot versus 38ish when well airborne. I'm not expecting miracles because I'm running 4K with LOD 200 anc a few ultra settings with live weather and traffic... on a fairly pedestrian machine.
