Don't feed the troll.

Yep, someone has a competing opinion so is branded a "troll". Classy.

It is my opinion that getting worked up about a 3 second update is not a sentiment that merits attention, therefore a post like that should just be ignored.

Then rather than name call, do exactly that - ignore it.

Bug fix:

Fixed an issue preventing the completion of the ‘Taxi’ and ‘Take-off’ tutorials in Sedona airport

So glad to see the team responding with such lightening speed to hotfix this important issue.  The future is looking brighter with every update.

Yeah, seems kinda odd to me - you launch the sim, you're presented with un update, you immediately inform the whole community before someone else gets in first...

There do seem to be several types of updates.

1. Mandatory, that every MSFS user sees because there has been a release of a mandatory update.

2. Mandatory that only an individual sees, because their MSFS installation has been damaged and MSFS is trying to repair it.

3. Optional, that every user can see, but they have to go to the Content Manager first.
This would include World Updates, that despite the occasional belief that they are, are not installed automatically, except that the latest one apparently is,
being a World Update to a World Update for the first time. This makes this optional update mandatory.

4. Optional, that to use, require a visit to the Marketplace to buy the update for no money.

5.  Hotfixes, which often appear to do as much damage as they do repairs, something that really should not be named a fix at all.
