I knew from day 1 when they announced earlier this years that they have to refactor the entire AI system, that it would take a year + to deliver it.

Thats' quite a list of changes / updates / new features !!! Almost makes me want to enter this beta 🙂

Yep, it's just the old bitmap you could already use in js from what I understand i.e. no actual weather radar simulation.

Just an unbelievable list. In 25 years Laminar haven't fixed that much.

First impressions: I think they fixed the performance on PG cities. I mean, that issue introduced on some past update. Finally constant 40 fps (looking around drops to ~30's) on KLAX again. My test bed: Everything on Ultra, Full HD, DX12, DLSS on Quality - KLAX - Default 787.

My specs: 5950x // RTX 3090 // 32GB 3600mhz

I also noticed they added more variables related to the flight model, I think.  I assume those variables will allow 3rd party devs to customize the flight model even further.  Maybe one of the 3rd party devs want to chime in and give us some insight on some of the new variables they added and what it can mean for improvements to the flight model?

No. It's 1.27.9.0.

I am registered for beta through insider hub, it did a update from the store, 1.05G, then does not update in sim

UPDATE:

A second restart of PC triggered another update in Win Store of 1.18G which THEN pushed the 15G insin update to appear

ALL is well

They added some glider winches. Probably by mistake, since Gliders aren't coming until November.

Not necessary. Maybe restart your pc and it will trigger the update.

Absolutely no difference in clouds or cloud layers in Live Weather Mode in SU10.

Aerosol density is still 1 in Live Weather Mode everywhere you go, regardless of actual visibility. 

Asobo really need to simulate visibility/aerosol changes in the atmosphere in Live Weather Mode. This data is available from the meteoblue model like any other variable (temperature, wind etc).
