July 17, 20223 yr The final Beta for the Cessna Chancellor 414AW has been announced and is on Flysimware's site right now it is designated Beta 2.7.0
July 17, 20223 yr Looking forward to getting a stable version of this. Hadn't realised the whole "pre-release" thing would involve so many updates. I gave up on it a couple of releases back as I just got fed up with doing the installs every week or two. It'll be nice to feel I can use it again. Same with the H145, just waiting for the production version now. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
July 17, 20223 yr Thanks for the notice. It's been very enjoyable watching this plane get better and better, exactly what I expected (and more) when I bought into the beta. Also sounds like the right time for anyone who hasn't gotten it yet, to go get it! 👍 Edited July 17, 20223 yr by Stoopy "That's what" - She
July 17, 20223 yr I tried buying it last night and it wouldn't let me process the transaction. Guess I'll try later today.

July 17, 20223 yr Commercial Member The FSW C414 is the best thing I've flown in MSFS so far, of course if we're talking about piston-prop engines. July 17, 20223 yr Having flown the 414 all weekend, it's great but like so many other IFR-oriented GA planes in MSFS, its limiter is the poorly simulated avionics. I bought the PMS50 and it's just bad. Wish I bought the TDS, but then I'd have outdated navdata, an issue which I definitely would've already run into.

I didn't buy the TDS for that very reason, but others on here persuaded me to get it. Turns out after a year of use I have yet to have any issues with any procedures. I frequently fly into FLL which changed up their procedures significantly and those aren't in the Garmin trainer.
July 17, 20223 yr The 414 is simply amazing. I've been flying the BETA and the entire FSW team is just amazing. Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

Perhaps for you but not in general and not in the 414. I was in beta from day 1..I have both the PMS and the TDS. Both work splendidly with the 414. -B

Did you report those bugs on the dev's Discord or by any other way? If you don't, they won't get fixed. I use the WTT version of the PMS50 GTN and don't see any bugs. There are some things different from the real unit because the PMS uses the sim's flight plan logic, but those are not bugs.
