August 20, 20223 yr The update is fantastic! The sim now runs like it did when the SU10 beta was first released. I took off from KJFK and flew over downtown NYC with a thick cloud layer, and everything was totally smooth on my seven-year-old system. Please note that if you currently have your options set to the DX12 beta, and you want to see how this update works for DX11 (for which it is intended), you'll have to set the option back to DX11 and reboot MSFS from scratch before the changes will take effect. August 20, 20223 yr Just ran a quick test at CYYZ active runway (FlyTampa) and saw a fps increase from 32 to 40 which is nicely appreciated. Unfortunately the frame jump doesn't seem to apply to VR, still have the same fps. Will need to do some more testing though. August 20, 20223 yr That’s good that DX 11 performance is restored to beta patch 1 performance. If it’s restored and everything else is stable, I am fine with them releasing SU 10. August 20, 20223 yr Big change! I've never had so much fluidity in DX11! Just a question there is always the problem on DX12 for some people the DLSS does not work... At home I still can't try it...
