August 20, 20223 yr For some reason, DLSS is not an option for me under AA. I used to have it. Am I missing something, like a setting in the Nvidia panel? I'm very confused. Running on a RTX 2060S. PROBLEM SOLVED: updating the Nvidia drivers solved the issue Edited August 20, 20223 yr by Turpentine

August 22, 20223 yr Based on all the good feedback here, today I jumped into the SU10 beta (from SU9) and what do you know... Not a single FPS difference (DX11) 😞 I guess you guys on SU10 have been through some rough times if you think this build is good 😛 Unfortunately, since switching I have had issues getting HDR to work consistently... sometimes it think's it's using HDR, but it's not. It's really hit or miss and when it's not working, I'm not sure I've found a consistent way to get it working again. Toggling the HDR option in the Options Menu fixed it once, but not a few other times. It's frustrating. I may have to re-install SU9 but I also hope they get it working before launch.

The only time performance was better was with beta 1 and DX12. 36 minutes ago, Virtual-Chris said: Unfortunately, since switching I have had issues getting HDR to work consistently.. That’s the reason I left the beta. Some people got it working by going to windowed mode, resizing the window then back to full screen. Didn’t work for me. Disappointing as HDR was supposed to be fixed in the previous update. Oh well. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Disappointing as HDR was supposed to be fixed in the previous update. Oh well. I also think my performance is great... I get 60FPS most of the time at 400 LOD at 4K. But based on this thread, I was expecting a nice boost. I guess SU10 has had it's ups and downs (mostly downs) and is now getting back to SU9 levels of performance in DX11. I'll try that trick to get HDR working again, but if it fails to work, I'll be back on SU9 as well. I gather it requires re-installing the sim?

I did see someone on the official forum mention that you could get away with deleting something in the Official folder before leaving the beta, but I don’t have a link, sorry. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Once you are in windowed mode, you have to drag the window around a bit to trigger the HDR. Works 100%. Baber My Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/HDOnlive
August 22, 20223 yr So, we are all relieved the performance of SU10 now looks like it won't be worse than originally thought. Oooookaaaaay. Ground friction physics are still broken, runway lights are still broken, weather system is still broken, etc. Why bother even releasing SU10 in all honesty? Wouldn't it be better to wait until the core problems of the sim are actually addressed instead of putting out updates to simply gain a modest performance increase? My feeling is that SU10 was developed mostly (if not entirely) to address problems with Xbox compatibility whilst at the same time addressing some superficial performance problems with MSFS2020. No groundbreaking new features at all. Sad.
August 22, 20223 yr A question please. Why the HDR slider in MSFS settings does not work? I can not set HDR to on. thank you

I do find it comical that a build that achieves SU9 levels of DX11 performance is being hailed as something so great. It just shows how low our expectations are. If it’s not worse than the last release it’s a win! Sheesh. 😞
