I paint liveries for vintage airliners and usually the developer includes stairs with their product. I like to paint the stairs to match the livery and as such, if true, than I cannot use those stairs. I am sure for P3D I was using custom stairs with this product. You mean your aicraft's air stairs? And by "use" you mean that the GSX pax walk up the air stairs instead of the GSX stairs? If so, then "no", it's not possible to do that, unless the aircraft developer integrates GSX into his aircrafts systems. Otherwise there's no access possible for GSX. Of course you can still use it with air stairs in the sense that it's no problem for GSX, the air stairs will however probably be visually covered by the GSX stairs. (I could be wrong, though, perhaps there's some customization option in the airplane config menu to do that.) For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Well I could with the FSX version so I just sent an email off to the Devs asking why or why not and will it be possible in the future. GSX just released. It'll take a little time for aircraft devs to integrate their addons with it. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

August 24, 20223 yr Is it possible to read the manual before buying GSX? Just to get some feel for it all? I have to add though that to see a manual for an addon like this has at least 54 pages doesn't bode well. I honestly hope you don't need all those pages to use GSX in its basic (out of the box) mode. An addon like this should simply work. So hopefully pages (approx.) 10 to whatever are for hard core stuff and have nothing to do with the basic use of GSX. BTW I don't have any 3rd party airports apart from the ones that come with MSFS Deluxe Premium and the various world updates: are those considered to be 3rd party addons as far as GSX is concerned?

I'd like to have a look at the manual nonetheless. I know there is a demo (right...?) and I suppose it comes with the manual but I don't want to install all kinds of installers and script systems into my clean Windows 11 install without knowing if I will ever be using it all. It's not uncommon to make manuals available to wannabe customers. 😉 Edited August 24, 20223 yr by tup61

I desperately want to find reasons to buy GSX and put up with the bugs (i'd been waiting ages for it) but not a GSX that requires taking a full-time job in customization and working around bugs. I don't mind doing a small degree of customization but telling people to read a 70 page manual just to customize a few vehicles and a few passengers filled with bugs and issues seems to me to be a bit ludicrous as an expectation. It is sad to say that as I have always enjoyed and supported the work of FSDreamteam but this makes it all the more surprising. Edited August 24, 20223 yr by steve310002

Agreed. However, I don't own any 3rd party airport addons so for me everything should work out of the box without having to read the entire manual. I only wonder if the airports that come with MSFS Deluxe Premium and World Updates are considered to be 'addon airports' and hence need extra work or not.
