This video is hilarious to watch, especially at the 10-minute mark, where passengers' feet can be seen penetrating the cockpit upper panel as they board. 🙂

Don’t panic.

This is a vendor with a good track history, not one who has a dodgy past.

Was it released too early ? Yeah maybe, but i think Umberto will square things away and we will be laughing about it down the track.

Give him a chance, no need to call Pan Pan Pan just yet. 😀

Umberto is probably more upset than any of we are. This time next spring I'm willing to bet GSX will have very little to complain about.

Slightly off topic, but has there been a single major product release for MSFS that wasn't cursed, yet?

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

I agree.  MSFS is new - it's not a 10 year old platform that all developers know the ins and outs of.  Heck I struggled with something on my repaint today for a few hours.  And that's just one livery.  Ugh.

It was never going to work perfectly for every airport or aircraft, it's a framework for people to build on top of, just like with the P3D/FSX version.

Not only new but under constant development.  It’s super fun developing for multiple moving platforms.

I generally concur with the sentiments here. FSDreamTeam has a very solid track record and I think after some time these issues will be worked out and some of the suggestions from those like 737 Driver can be incorporated. However, as of now, I have fully uninstalled GSX Pro and will hold off for a a while to see how it plays out.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

I feel the same. I was going to buy then read the first few hours of negative posts. I decided to hold on for a day and then saw the video you posted - reluctant to buy now. I'll see how things develop.

CPU Ryzen 7800X 3D  RAM 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz GPU GEFORCE RTX 4090
Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

I wasn't a heavy user of GSX in FSX, but I didn't think it was a waste of money or anything.  It's best if you can tune things a bit.

My real hope is that GSX gets behind FSDT and they can work on PHNL.

It's unstable for me and causes CTDs. I've had to uninstall it.

Harsh video imho. I think it has some rough edges, and yes - the comments on the procedural issues are valid, but there are also some improvements (marshaller showing the gear pins finally) and of course the whole GSX world aspect (replacement airport vehicles and jetways) that add a lot of value. I had no crashes yet (on my 4th flight) but I did have the do a full re-install and remove my FSDT folder once, to make it work. Since then it's been reliable for me.

The complaint about not giving previous users a discount is ridiculous. Show me one other developer who has provided this many updates and for this length of time for free. Umberto deciding to charge for this new version is more than fair.

To be honest......... much of this has already been discussed/reported in the other release thread,  yet you felt compelled to:  Start a new topic..... complete with provocative, no wiggle-room title.... and offer little -  except a link to someone else's YT vid.  A plucky 5th post it was.
