AMD RX 6900 XT here and rBAR changes nothing in MSFS. Doesnt matter if on or off, for some other games very, very slight benefits are reported, that is why I have it always on.

Early releases of the 3080 and 3090 apparently needed the video card's bios updated to support it. Maybe cards purchased 2021 onward would already have the update. I've never noticed much of a difference on or off, minor if anything.

Been running it for ages, has made no difference for me across many titles.

thanks for the heads up though.

If it doesn't make any difference to msfs or any other titles, I wonder what it does make any difference to.  Can anyone shed any light?

Yep I updated VBIOS in my 3090 about a year ago and have had ReBar enabled since then. I don't know if it makes much difference in MSFS, but it should in many other titles.

As a side note, the new Intel GPUs require ReBar to be enabled to pretty much work at all.

Friend of mine, have 3090 and got few more (3-4 fps) in MsFs, after turn it on...

FYI:  If your OS partition is MBR, you will not be able to run rBAR...it will infinitely boot-loop to your BIOS each time.  CSM and rBAR do not play well together.

The OS partition must be GPT, which most people run these days anyway, but this could be useful information possibly for some.

If you're not sure how your OS partition has been formatted, go to Disk Management in Windows (in Win10, right click on the start button and select "Disk Management").  Within Disk Management, right click on your OS drive and select Properties, then Volumes tab.  There will be an entry entitled "Partition Style" and it will say either MBR or GPT, typically.
