November 15, 20223 yr I don't fly big jets, I get bored if the flight is longer than 15 minutes without requiring any input in the form of navigation, radio calls, etc. But since this one was free, I did a flight in it.. and wow it's really satisfying when you figure things out. And there's something special about handling a heavy jet. It's a great feeling. Now I kind of want to buy the PMDG 737 and Fenix A320. November 16, 20223 yr ...I haven't flown the Fenix nor the PMDG 737s for *days* now, and I absolutely adore those planes. What keeps me coming back: o Sounds - the low RPM drone is heavenly hypnotic, but all RPMs are represented very well! o Systems depth (on par with PMDG) o One button, seamless Simbrief integration (hells-yeah!) o Control of outside-the-plane volume (so needed)! I can only hope that this gorgeous hunk of metal gets better and better with future updates: chalks, FPS tweaks, better VNAV, etc! Edited November 16, 20223 yr by rlk281
November 16, 20223 yr I agree, the A310 is a very addictive plane.. it's like a cute baby 777 or a chubby 767.. 😄.... and has been modeled exceptionally well by inibuilds.. Vinod Kumar i9 10900K 5.3 Ghz, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM, Win 11. Alpha-Yoke, Bravo-Throttles, TM Joystick, TM-Rudder, 48" 4K TV.
November 16, 20223 yr Good day how do you set tcas on ND? i fly with real traffic so maybe traffic can’t be detect by the plane like Fenix a320? thanks Frédéric Giraud

November 16, 20223 yr In general, I really like the A310, but there are a few things which could make the immersion experience better. I find the internal engine sounds somewhat lacklustre and underwhelming. Not talking about the sound slider adjustment. The engine sounds don't appear to be blended well, especially for takeoff- they kind of disappear and then reappear on the spool-up. Appears very squirrely on take-off and landing.
November 16, 20223 yr Did a first testflight and put all the AAO scripts on my peripherals. This is a fun aircaft ! I can defo see myself using this on some regular basis. (When I don't fly the FBW or the Headwind...) Got no complaints as of now...only thing is that the FMCaccoding to Lorby is a WASM instrument and without an API there is no way to use it on my phone like I do with all the other ailiners. Hopfeully inibuilds considers making an API for this purpose. I liked the sounds in the cockpit. my African sceneries for MSFS : https://darshonaut.blogspot.com/p/msfs-2020.html
November 16, 20223 yr Yeah I’m not a fan of the engine sounds either. The clicking and pushing sounds are good though 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
November 16, 20223 yr I just can't believe this is free! £60 for MSFS and you get this included? It's so good. Hours and hours of enjoyment learning to fly it and master it. What's the catch??
November 16, 20223 yr The weather radar also seems to be working fine for me, so not sure what was the drama about the API when SU10 was released. November 16, 20223 yr I think it's some simplified weather radar that comes ready made by Asobo and developes can use it or not. I don't get why some devs don't want to use it. IMO It's much better having this than having no weather radar. YMMV Edited November 16, 20223 yr by darshonaut my African sceneries for MSFS : https://darshonaut.blogspot.com/p/msfs-2020.html
