November 17, 20223 yr Doesn't work for me, even after using the FAQ on the inibuilds forum. Menu stays on "Pending". With the iniManager tool + Simbrief I can get the flightplan when I enter the to/from airports on the INIT page, but nothing else. November 17, 20223 yr After today's update, the plane loaded again in 15-20 seconds AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, MSI RTX 5090, 64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5, Tuf Gaming X870Plus, 1200W PSU English is not my first language.
November 18, 20223 yr 11 hour flight done and dusted 1x sim speed flies really well. Looking forward to the update.
November 19, 20223 yr Went up at 0400lcl today, it took me a full hour to prepare a flight to Kai Tak for the event taking place on VATSIM taking place right now , departed 0500lcl and now, 8h later, when I was about to select approaches into VHHX, FMC freezes and all systems don't respond any more 🙁 What's also quite interesting: vatSPY is showing my aircraft descending through 25000ft while the altimeter in the sim is showing "371xx". Where the xx are, there's the altimeter counting down rapidly but the "371..." is steady. I've now had freezing systems on two out of four flights. Not happy about it.
November 19, 20223 yr Realized most of my A310 issues come from it not playing very well with FS Realistic. The CTDs and dangerous belly flopping out of the sky on the roll axis. November 19, 20223 yr I could'nt fly it without it failing in flight( becoming suddenly uncrontrollable) usually starting with an AP disconnection and rolling over into a death dive. I am on the current beta patch and have now completed 2x 3hr flights with no issues. I also don't see any performance issues, but i am locked at 30fps. Still no change when initially run, and loads in less than a minute on the first use on my set up. Yea weird things happen when disconnecting autopilot, usually a CTD or death roll for me even without FS Realistic active.😥 Back to be grounding this one until we get hotfixes. November 19, 20223 yr I'm just getting into the A310 after a week long break from simming. On the latest beta build 1.29.29.0. I suspect the A310 has not compiled correctly. It loaded in less than 30 secs on the first load. Also, I don’t see any .dll files in the folder: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300 Just a “work” subfolder. I don’t want to spend a lot of time testing the aircraft if the WASM compilation was not done correctly, as I suspect there could be errors due to this. Not really sure where to go from here though. I’ve already uninstalled/reinstalled it once earlier today. Edited November 19, 20223 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

That is normal behaviour - They did originally thought that was the issue where the plane was loading in quick fashion and files were missing from that folder but this is indeed intended behaviour and no longer is a thing to look out for. Hey, thanks for answering. As I'm a bit behind on 40th anniversary simming, I haven't had the time to read through all the 25 pages in this thread yet (only on page 11). But I got worried from the first few pages discussing issues with WASM compilation. I guess I'll end the troubleshooting here, and rather go flying 🙂 EDIT: Just in case, I deleted the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\microsoft-aircraft-a310-300. Then loaded into a new flight. Still very fast, less than 1 min. Nothing other than the folder "work", no .dll. So I'm assuming that since no DLLs are being generated, it runs on intermediary unoptimized code as opposed to the native x86 .dll. I'm getting great performance though. A also have a good rig that I've spent a lot of time optimizing. This is what the WASM debug looks like: Edited November 19, 20223 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
November 19, 20223 yr When I disconnect the AP the disconnect warning sound doesn't stop and beeps for minutes until I land. Is that normal behaviour or did I miss something I have to do? Edited November 19, 20223 yr by crimplene

If you didn't want to press the button on the yoke - The key binding you want is "Autopilot Off" - Press once to disconnect AP and then press again to silence the alarm. Great, thank you. I just used the switch in the AP panel and got a bit confused, I think. 🙂
