November 17, 20223 yr Which new Beta? Do you mean the SU11 update? I’m confused. Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
November 17, 20223 yr SU11 Beta Update from today. I am never sure if it is a placebo, but my first flight was very smooth with a solid 60fps (4k ultra DLSS balanced), and no stutters as you say. Big Bear to San Bernardino on the outskirts of LA in the modded DC-3. Scattered clouds late afternoon. Absolutely beautiful and not one stutter. The sim has also been solid for me since SU11. No connection issues for me tonight up to now, so hopefully that is fixed in this update. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. November 17, 20223 yr Same here as OP. Today's update really enhanced my performance. Whenever we get an update, I always test the update under my worst-possible-case scenario -- clunkiest airport, thickest weather layers, most-complex aircraft, etc. I did this today and, for the first time, got no stutters at all even when essentially trying to get stutters. Only open to people who registered as a beta tester. A lot of it relates to the new A310, but there are some other fixes. Some people are reporting significant increases to the A310 performance in terms of fps. It did have a few problems. It was a frame hog! Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). It was a frame hog! Unfortunately the A310 is still a frame rate hog for me (no increase in FPS with this update). 19 or 20 FPS with A310 when with other planes I have 40 to 50 FPS. Just uninstalled that thing. Mainly A310 fixes anyway, but certainly no worse on frame rate or stability. Seems quite good. I have had some really smooth uninterrupted flights. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
