As you might have heard on the latest MSFS Dev Q&A, the GNS430W/530W (to be included by default in select aircraft), CJ4, G3000/5000, TBM, and Longitude updates you have been watching us build and preview for so many months are coming soon, in the first Aircraft and Avionics Update for MSFS. This will be the first of several Aircraft and Avionics Updates (AAUs) for MSFS over the course of 2023, so there's even more to look forward to down the road! We're incredibly excited to be improving these parts of the simulations along with our teammates and friends at Microsoft and Asobo. AAU1 will be releasing in January, with opt-in public beta flighting to begin before the end of this year. This will work just like all the other Sim Update beta test flights, and will be delivered via the normal sim update system. Instructions for opting in to the sim betas can be found on the MSFS forums. We'll let everyone know when there is a more specific beta release date that we can share. Just to get the salivary glands moving even more, enjoy a pre-release version of the Cessna Citation Longitude Model 700 Operator's Guide. You know, a little light reading while you wait for your plane to be delivered. It's part of the same thing, but from what has been said a LOT more work has gone in to the Longitude systems. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
November 19, 20223 yr They both look incredible. I enjoy the Longitude but don't fly it atm because the G3000 is just "okay." November 19, 20223 yr Best default avionics in any sim ever? If not they are very close. Thank you Working Title. Dave.
November 19, 20223 yr Ill bet the two "suprises" are the G5 and G3X Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

Yup, see https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/626892-msfs-dev-stream-starting/?do=findComment&comment=4878728 for more details... I just figured a separate thread was useful on the two business jets they're beefing up in MSFS, especially given the pre-release of what looks to be a substantial operating guide for Longitude hinting at the systems depth and fidelity of the coming bird. November 19, 20223 yr Would like to see the surprise either: a big update to the default in-sim flight planner, Or: a default tablet EFB that can be installed in any aircraft. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer
