When changing pitch mode, or when finishing accelerating, the pitch rate seems excessive, quite sure the passenger would be mad at me Also a lot of roll output using AP, seems like it's trying to over correct weather, but it's rolling on nearly 90% of the cruise, PID issue? Last thing is descent, if I am not using spoiler, it will easily overspeed, 50 kts++, without correcting under VNAV mode, not sure if it's normal behavior. Appart from that I really like it and it's still a BETA Edited December 12, 20223 yr by bendead

I certainly do not see issues with VNAV that you described. Thanks for the response, -B Edited December 12, 20223 yr by btacon
December 12, 20223 yr I'm sure there'll be some mod to tweak the flight model. But in this beta iteration, it's not bad at all IMO. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

I also experience the crazy twitchiness on take off. A small input puts the nose to the moon. However, I'm putting up with it for now because using the new G5000 is so much fun! Im sure they'll dial in FM in next updates.

My worst issue is the fact it tries to put a dent in the runway on landing. Sure they'll get it fixed though. The Nav & VNav is superb though, last 24hrs I've taken the BBJ & C700 into Rw08 at LOWI. C700 did a better job of it, by far... G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
December 13, 20223 yr @kenny584 I used the Norbo1H departure from Runway 23 at Glasgow today and used the manual autothrottle to keep my speed around 180kts and it made the turn to Norbo no problem this time, you were spot on about your observation regarding the speed for the tight turn👍 @Gazzareth I'm having landing issues also and thought it was just me, it sure seems more sensitive now! I might try adjusting my sensitivity settings to see if that helps! I find it OK in AP mode but really twitchy manually. Earlier version was not that way. I could adjust my sensitivities but I prefer not to do that. IMHO if the flight model is done correctly there should be no need for individual sensitivity adjustments. As others have said, it likes to put dents in the runway. December 14, 20223 yr A few questions hopefully someone can answer: 1. Is there a way to display OAT on the G5000? I’m sure there is, but I’m just missing it. 2. How do I change which pane is active on the MFD? I see the knob on the GTC which supposedly should switch it, but it doesn’t have any effect. I can only control the right pane, and can’t switch to the left. 3. Is there any way to scroll the flight plan on MFD when it’s used as an inset?
